Clean, mixed well, and tastes good like a little like good quality milk. 140 cal for 30g of protein is solid. It's tastes better than Isopure and better price!

I'm not complaining about the size of the 5lb jar of this wheat isolate powder, nor anything else about it. Just be prepared for the fact it's a really big container. The included scoop makes measuring easy, and even with just a long spoon, it mixes in cold water just great. I went with the chocolate flavor for my first go, and it's surprisingly tasty—just like a real milkshake. The calorie content may seem high, but it's nearly all the whey protein, which is what you want for building muscle without putting on empty carb weight. Addendum: I've just tried the vanilla flavor. It's milder than the chocolate, not as heavy, and a nice change. However, I also typically add saw palmetto and collagen protein peptides to my shakes, and the vanilla doesn't conceal the slight bitterness of one of those (probably the palmetto) as effectively as the chocolate. It's okay and tolerable, just an observation. I think I prefer the vanilla overall because it's not as overpowering. I'm mixing other powders along with the whey isolate—saw palmetto and a collagen + peptides supplement—so I'm getting lots of good stuff in one nice big hydrating drink. I know this contains sucralose, and normally I don't like artificial sweeteners, but this is fine. I'm not noticing any unpleasant aftertaste and it goes down really nice after a workout. I'm going to try the vanilla flavor next. For those who don't want anything else, there's always the unflavored version, which I might give a whirl someday.

I'm SO happy that I finally found a 5 pound container of quality protein powder! The "unflavored" tastes decent when mixed with juice or in a smoothie. Best of all, I feel great when I take it. The container is plastic but at least it's thin plastic and not bulkier than it needs to be. I wish they'd just put it in a bag but I'm so thankful just to have a 5 pound size that I can deal with it. I also like the LARGE scoop size that measures out a full 30 grams. I'm very happy with this product and will be buying again. It's a great value for those of us who can't have fake sweeteners and who go through a lot of protein powder. Big thanks, Nutricost!

I’ve been using Protein Isolate for a while now, and overall I’m satisfied with it. The protein quality is good, it mixes very well with water and milk, and I don’t get any stomach issues. It’s a clean isolate, easy to digest, and works well after workouts or as a quick protein boost during the day. The Milk Chocolate flavor is decent and definitely drinkable. The texture is smooth, no clumps, and it dissolves quickly even without a blender. I also like that it has a high protein content per serving. The only downside for me is that the flavor is a bit too sweet, especially if you mix it with water. I personally prefer a more natural or less sweet taste. It’s not bad, just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sweetness. Overall, it’s a solid protein isolate for the price, good quality and effective. I would buy it again, but next time I might try a different flavor.

Nutricost continues to be a solid brand. This whey protein isolate mixes well, goes down easy, and has a clean taste without being overly sweet. Ingredients are straightforward and it sits well without any stomach issues. It works great post-workout and doesn’t feel heavy. Another great product from Nutricost. Finally, a protein powder that doesn't overpower the flavor of what you mix with it. I like to make fruit shakes with a little spinach, and every protein powder I've tried is so sweet that it overpowers the fruit, so all I taste is the protein powder. This one allows the banana, strawberry, raspberry, or cherry flavors to come through. There is still some sweetness from the protein powder, so its flavor is there, but it mixes well and is not nearly as strong as other powders. I also like that with the isolate formula you get a higher protein content than just regular whey concentrate. Will be buying this again!

Taste is good and achieve desired benefits, that being said does not seem to mix fully and leaves some chunks at the bottom using blender bottle.

I really liked the taste of the strawberry. It’s a little sweet but I just mix a little more water in it and it’s good. Good price too.
