Just arrived today
This is my first electric kettle, I tested a few pots of hot water out and double checked the temp with my Thermapen thermometer. This pot reads accurate and matches the expensive meat thermometer I have to the degree.Heat times are as described, when I filled the pot it read 70degrees and within 3-4 min it was almost to my 200 degree set point. When I fill it to the max fill line it holds just below (750ish grams) 800g of water. Filling the pot to the top of the MAX letters is 800. I think if you’re careful you could squeeze 900g in this kettle and put the lid on but I’d heat it without the lid in that case cause it looks like the water is damn close to touching the vent holes and could sputter. And as for pouring it makes a nice stream and I put a cup on my scale and timed the pour and it take from 9-11 seconds to pour out 100g of water. I don’t know if that’s fast or slow compared to other kettles but someone might find this info useful. All in all I like this kettle however I have nothing to compare it to. But I’ll try to update my experience with it as time goes on

Love this tea pot!
After searching for an electric tea pot that looks good on the counter, made well, while able to set the temp and heats fast, I took a chance on this one because there was only 1 review. But We’ve been using it for 3 months and we love it! No complaints except the pot could be slightly larger. But the water heats up so fast it doesn’t matter, Love the mat black metal finish that always looks clean.

How long do you want your kettle to last?
The Good - Good design. Very similar to the Fellow Stagg. Unlike the fellow, if you unplug, you lose your temp scale setting (Fahrenheit is the default). Has good features 1) like built in timer, 2) temp hold, 3) auto off.The Bad - Stopped working 9 months to the day from when I purchased it. Temp hold doesn't really work 100%. Had to bump it up a degree and then move it back down to my desired temp to get it back to where it needed to be between pours. Would also get liquid lurching while pouring sometimes that I couldn't figure out, even while trying to gently pour. The Ugly - The base on this warped itself due to it's own heat. I brew coffee with it at 96 degrees Celsius.

Nice looking kettle with temperature controls
Love the temperature control feature! My partner and I are a great fan of tea, and in many cases there a specific temperatures that work best for each tea. This kettle allows us to do just that, you can adjust the temperature with the button on the base! It also looks very clean and simple which I love!

Fast, but not leak proof
The water heats quickly and I'm able to set specific temperatures. I haven't verified the temperature with another thermometer. It boils over sometimes through the holes on the lid, even when I have it filled about an inch below the MAX line. It's on the small side to begin with and I can't even fill it to that MAX line.

Perfect gooseneck and good value (for the money)
Long and thin gooseneck controls the flow of water very well and without leaking and splashing while boiling or pouring. And it’s very well balanced and easy to do slow pour brews. I use it every morning for my coffee.

works great, no overheat.
I am not sure what others reviewers do, this runs cool to the touch on the bottom, people with burned and warped plastic must be running this dry for hours.

Used a grand total of maybe 30 times
The good: it was efficient and heated up quickly. Nice design. The not so great: it was temperamental about the angle you poured after a while developing air pockets that caused the water to splash what was in the cup instead of a smooth pour. The ugly: i used this primarily for pour over coffee, my french press and the occasional cup of tea and therefore didn't use it daily by any means. I rarely had it go up to the full 212* it can do. Today, the heating element completely quit. In dumping out the water to throw the whole thing in the trash, I noticed around the heating element at the base of the kettle, it was cracked 3/4 of the way around. It is in the garbage now and I will be finding a different kettle to purchase.
