It's been several months. At first, the cat was very interested in the box in which the cube arrived, but not in the cube itself. Within a couple of weeks she fell in love with the cube, and it became a favorite sleeping spot.The cube is rugged and easy to maintain, so what's not to like? I wanted to get a second one, but unfortunately, just before that, they were no longer being sold. I hope they come back.UPDATE, Feb. 2021: The cat abandoned the cube for weeks. Now she always sleeps in in, day and night. I guess cats instinctively change sleeping locations periodically as a way to throw off predators. I'd still like to get a second one to expand the one I have.UPDATE, Oct. 2021: I paid $15.99 for this July, 2020. The price is now $31.99 -- doubled. SERIOUSLY? I'd like to get a second one, but for that price, the cat is going to have to get a job to pay for it.UPDATE, Apr. 2022: I believe that the manufacturer was the original owner of this page, and that the manufacturer, A 4 Pet, went out of business about two or so years ago. A new company bought the original company's remaining stock, doubled the price, and left them up for sale until they were gone. While that doesn't reach the level of "scam," it shows you that now you need to be as alert on this site as you do on eBay. (EBay spiraled downward long ago, and is bereft pf consumer protections.)UPDATE, 17 Jul. 2022: Now they're being sold for $6.99, with free shipping. Given the lengthy shipping time, I assume it's being drop-shipped directly from China. I don't know whether this is a final closeout, or whether they're being made cheaply in China, but I hope it's the same quality as the one I bought from the actual A 4 Pet, which seems to be long gone, except for the name.UPDATE 4 Sep 2022: The order for 2 never arrived, and no tracking information was available after "shipper picked up the package." The shipper of record had no information on the order. Amazon kept saying that I could get a refund, and then I couldn't. Trying to contact the seller, whom Amazon said no longer did business with Amazon and was unreachable, cost me two more days, because even in that case, you still have to wait two days for an A-to-Z refund. Amazon finally agreed to do the refund, so hopefully this saga is over.

This is GREAT value for money. For the price, this is WELL worth it. My large 16lb cat launches onto the top of this cube and it has still kept its shape almost perfectly. It was super easy to pop up and it comes with a cute Sherpa lining for the bottom that my cat loves to sit on. I have the holes shifted so that there is one hole on the top, which my cat LOVES. It’s like her little peep hole. I bought a separate tunnel from Amazon that I was able to attach and, together, they’re her favorite toy! The only thing I cannot attest to is how easy it is to fold up because I have never tried to fold it. I HIGHLY recommend this cube. I’m super pleased with how sturdy this cube is and I love the easy-to-clean material. This is even better than expected!

Update: my other cat has decided she likes to sleep on TOP of the cube, rather than in it. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 and yes surprisingly it’s strong enough to hold !——This is definitely a much higher quality cat cube than any other I’ve seen/owned. Other cubes are made out of that lightweight, cheap, tent-like material? But this one is made out of a sort of thicker, cotton-like fabric.It does come with a floor mat insert that has a removable washable cover, although I wouldn’t recommend using it alone. It’s completely flat and does not offer any cushion or support really so I would recommend putting maybe a blanket or pillow in there.Overall I’m very satisfied with it and so is my cat. She jumped right in it and was sleeping within minutes ha

I have a 16 year old cat who spends the majority of his day sleeping or resting. I got him the cube for his birthday...I set it up in a few seconds and as I placed it on the floor Ben crawled right in without hesitation. The padded floor insert which is nicely zippered for cleaning is a real plus. This cube is reinforced so well it does not slide around as do some cubes....Ben gives it give paws up for comfort, quality and price!!

I've had this for about 2-3 months, and the cats & kittens love it. Older cat likes to hide in it, thinking she's protected from the kitten craziness. Kittens love to jump on it and in & around it, and it holds up very well. (A previous, different, thin material one I had got totally shredded by kitten claws!) Came back to buy another, but currently unavailable.

Initially bought one for both cats however my second cat seem to want his own space so now I have two of these they are well met built sturdy I don't know about the part of a cat sitting on top of it maybe a kitten but my boys one of them are 18 lb and he can get in it fine it has a good carpeted bottom which I think they like because it's snug and cosy I definitely would recommend this product

Definitely sturdy and really good quality compared to other ones that I have bought. Got a bunny that likes to hide under the couch and dig the carpet. With this he’s occupied with digging the padded flooring and hides in there instead.
