The Norton Anthology of American Literature

The class and teacher were a joke...but the book was delivered faster than expected and helped get the job done. I guess it will just live on my shelf for the rest of my life now......

It's good, bought it for class, I'll probably use it in the future too.

I got this for a college course - had to update from my 3rd edition! High quality.

Need to return. Already had a copy

Thinking that I would teach from this text Spring Quarter, I ordered a copy of the NAAL shorter ed. (part time instructors are not offered desk copies at my institution). However, when I realized that this was not the same text offered to the students through the campus bookstore, I tried to return the copy. BE WARNED: there is a 50% restocking fee! I had no idea this was the case; no where on the website did I see any warnings. If there are, they must be in very small, obscure print. I have never had this issue with Amazon before; therefore, I thought other customers should be alerted to this fact, so they don't make the same expensive mistake.

I'm more than happy and satisfied with this purchase! I bought a used copy from Mortuusbooks, which was listed as "good," but I swear it could have been listed as very good! This has made me excited to read more older literature instead of what I usually read. I am highly appreciative of the used copy I purchased. I would say it's the best used book I have purchased in my life. Mortuusbooks, if you see this, thank you so much!

If you are needing your textbooks for school Juniper Branch is the best route to go! They are family owned, and they ship immediately! I was getting my used books through my school, but the one's I have ordered from JB have all been in excellent condition and are much cheaper! I highly recommend buying from Juniper Branch, and they deserve ten stars! Also, the packaging was fantastic and it included a sweet remark from the buyers "Dream Big!"

Read this book opens your eyes to the ugliness of the American society. Not a waste of time.
