Convenient and easy to install
I recently installed the electronic door handle on my bedroom door and it has been a game-changer for both security and convenience. The design is sleek and minimalistic, making it a great addition to any modern room. It doesn’t look overly bulky or tech-heavy, which is perfect for interior spaces like a bedroom or office.Installation was straightforward and quick. Since this was for a room door, I didn’t need any major tools aside from a screwdriver. It took me around 20 minutes to replace the old handle with this one, and the included instructions were clear. The handle offers a few access options: PIN code and finger, both of which have been reliable. The PIN pad is responsive and the backlight is a nice feature, especially in low-light conditions.

Sleek & Easy install
As someone who isn’t super handy, installing was basically a breeze other than I did not test it prior to install (rookie move)… the first one I received, seemed to be defective and did not have any power but I reached out to customer service and they were able to replace it quickly and have one shipped to me within a day. The second time around, it took less than 10 mins to install. I really like it so far! The only thing that would make this lock better is some type of confirmation from the inside that the door is locked. I’m big on safety and double check all doors at night and that does seem to bother me a bit. Overall, the handle seems to be really good quality and the packaging was great! Also, I love that they provide a QR code with a how to video.

Faulty equipment, poor customer service, lack of foresight in the design.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve added a 3 min video to show how long it took for my thumbprint to be recognized, as proof that my thumbprint was registered to the handle. The thumbprint was a nice idea. If only it worked, I have had to re-register my master thumbprint three times and it stops working within a day.Minus one star.I sent an email to customer service with a question and it took over two days to get a response. Their response was not very helpful. So I sent a follow up email. It’s been three days and they still haven’t responded.Minus one star.If you buy multiple handles and you would like to re-key them all to the same key, you are out of luck. The response I got from customer service was to use identifying tags. To me this was unacceptable because the purpose of buying these doorhandles was to eliminate having a bunch of keys.Minus one starThe doorhandles Do not come with the rechargeable battery. It offers a USB-C port for emergency power If the batteries are dead, But you still have to then go and replace the batteries rather than having a lithium ion battery that you could easily charge.Minus one star.

Lost keys? No problem
So I have a family member who's constantly losing a room key and constantly has to have it locked due to other family members. So I wanted to get them something that would be a great present to fix that. After scouring the internet for something that was cheap and worked I came across this product. I did some research and figured it was good enough and come to find out when receiving is it was more than that. It came with 2 keys and she hid one and I have another but... why ever use them now unless we lose out thumbs XD. It fit right in the old door hole no extra cutting required. Not that it doesn't have its faults, for example sometimes it doesn't register right away so hou get a red ring and a beep before you have to click it again. The wait is nanoseconds to renter but the issue more is I can't find a way to turn the beep off when it fails to read a saved print. Which can be a tad annoying at night to say the least. But it definitely doesn't fail often enough for it to be an entire issue just a slight annoyance and if it does just add the same print again a few times as other "users" and it will stop over all. Another issue which was probably my fault was when I tried to install it the button on the back where you add the batteries and are supposed to be able to hold it down to lock and unlock and reset it on the outside. No matter what I did for a while while just refused to properly seat and connect. it might be the wiring it might have beem me not putting it in properly either way I had to do it a couple of times to make it function properly and consistently but after that no issues there. Regardless this was a great product and I'm planning on getting another one specifically for my room and the pantery soon enough. The programming of it is a little bit spotty at first until you get used to it but after that adding fingerprints and removing them is a snap, it's just a slight learning curve especially with no easy app to tinker with all those setting but when done it works perfectly, one it died while we where out and had to plug it into my phone to give it temporary juice, this was right about when we got the device and figured we'd find places to hide the keys afterwards leaving them in the room unintentionally. Saved me a trip up a two story house through a window. Just plugged it in and added my print. Gave the thing new batteries after that and was done, great feature.Pros-Fairly easy to install-Super sleek asthetics that look great-Fits a normal doorknob hole meaning no extra cutting-Easy to grab while placing hand naturally in a position it will be scanning the print for most hands anyway so no hand twisting.-No annoying proprietary app-Backup keys for failure. 2 included.-Can power it up to open it with fingerprint if lost keys and the device is dead with a battery bank or phone via the charger port on the side.-Internet or power died? Well who cares anymore because this works anyways since it runs on batteries and a chip inside itself.Cons-No easy app to control it with-One size fits all (more or less) though much smaller kids or adults with small size hand disorders may have a hard time unlocking if you want to giving them access-A annoying beep when locking and unlocking. or when it fails to read a fingerprint that cannot be disabled-Possible fidgety lock button on the rooms side when installing and may take retrys.I will note technically this is clearly labeled to be essentially for cheap hotels, but all things considered it is a well-worth purchase for normal house usage if you're in the market for a cheap but effective fingerprints doorknob just to get your fingers in the door (pardon the pun) if you can put up with the very minor grip of no app or wireless function and the beeping. Of which may be disable-able and I have just yet to find out how.

Functional and stylish
I wasn't 100% sure what to expect from this item except that I would be able to use my fingerprint to unlock my door after getting it and setting up the handle which was actually much easier than I expected I noticed that it automatically locks. Which is made my life a lot less stressful I use it for my office door so that I can protect the data on my PC and of course any products that I bring in that being said once it's locked even though the handle turns the door will not open until you use the fingerprint there are keys included and it also has a option to set up a passcode I opted out of using a passcode and I'm just using the fingerprint and key method to open the door so it's definitely worth it if you're looking for a affordable addition to the security of your home or office or any room in your home I do know it can hold multiple fingerprints but since this was being used for my personal space it only has mine on it

Use the Globe smart app as the app!!
People were having issues with the app not working or not being able to find it at all. Globe app for the smart plugs/lights/ect works! Has unlock history and everything.

Disappointed
Install was very straight forward. Went to program it and now it is a different story. Tried to get the lock to accept a fingerprint or code for 3 hours without any luck. Could not even get door to lock so never got it unlock using default settings. Decided to give it a break and try it again the next day. Had to get up in the middle of the night to remove the battery pack as it started to beep continually. Put battery pack back in an it just beeped and beeped. Reset it many times over the 2 days and that did nothing. Watched and read everything I could find online. Didn't help. Killed a brand new set of batteries in 2 days. Returning on day 3.

Functional
The coding touchscreen part work perfectly... However, sometimes it wont recognize my thumb fingerprint. But, for the price is good. Nobody cant get into my room now, thankfully(or,i hope so)...
