works perfectly
had a problem where with the original port if i nudged the cable even a little bit, it would lose the connection to Android Auto in my car. The new port corrected it 100% and even has a fresh snapping click when I connect a charger to it. Just be sure to find a good tutorial on youtube

Dash Charging restored!
I damaged my charging port awhile back when pushing in a charger a little too hard at a weird angle. It still charged, but not so well without the dash charger and took fiddling to get it to dash charge. This seemed to degrade over time to where only the dash charger could charge my phone and dash charging took a lot of fiddling and the phone couldn't be moved at all once I got it going. It got the point where dash charging took so long to get working that it wasn't worth it and my battery was getting old, so I decided to replace them both. This charging port was a 1:1 replacement, all of the identification numbers match the original and I can now easily charge/dash charge my phone again without issue. Great purchase! I love my OnePlus 6t and didn't want to replace it yet, and this allowed me to prevent that.

New Life to my phone
I've had my OnePlus 6T for about 3 years now. Still works great but the USB was getting loose. Installed this today. Perfect fit. Now the cord actually stays plugged in! Regarding the other review with Android Auto. This port works fine for me. Not sure what they were talking about.

It works, but no rapid charging.
Ribbon works, it is a drop-in replacement part and it does charge. However, there is no data transfer and no rapid charging. My OEM charging ribbon also had different markings than the one I reveived. A word of caution for anyone buying replacement phone components from Amazon: be wary; newer reviews are more indicative of the product you'll receive; and two people could each buy the same listing and get different components. Maybe just buy from a different source than Amazon.

Fixed!
Honestly I was concerned that this wasn't the right charging port for my OnePlus 6t but I can tell you for sure that it is. The picture is not the exact way the ribbon cable is. I had to problems installing this and I'm very happy with the results. My phone now charges again and the plugs feel tight like from factory.
