Good gift for a child
Flys nice. But only 10 minutes of battery life before a recharge is needed.

Great value and detail!
Really enjoyable to fly and easy to learn. Instructions were clear and the controls were responsive. This is a beginner helicopter and does not fly fast, if you're an experienced pilot you may find it to be underwhelming but for the price you would have already expected that.

What you would expect
After using this three days (7ish times): It takes about 30 minutes to charge and flies for 6-8 minutes depending on how high you fly it (the higher the faster the battery drains). The lateral and rear drift increase as the battery wears down (use the trim knob in the middle to compensate). Excellent flying for 1-4 minutes when flying it 3-6 inches off the floor, and flying it low will help it last 7ish minutes. Very easy to master after only 3 flights.Great plastics and design. Looks like as much like a AH-64 as a $30ish toy would. Set up some plastic Army men and toy tanks and have a skirmish!

works well
Works well. Important to take off on a perfectly flat floor(not carpet); otherwise, you will drift sideways on takeoff. Once airborne, stays stable, moves slow, but easy to control. Large remote is easy to use. Charges quick, Flies for 5-8 minutes. Army apache body makes it look cool for those who want a military copter. Lights look like guns and help you recognize direction you are facing. Just wish it could fire some missiles.

Does what is expected of it.
Well the Apache RC does what it is supposed to do...mostly. If you throttle up too fast it will auto kill the input which is annoying to me but I can see how some would appreciate it. My Apache came with a pre-bent left wing at a 45 degree angle so I figured a little light heat and a quick bend would fix it, but it ruined it instead so I can't return it now. On closer inspection the left landing gear was bent out as well which causes it to drift left immediately at take off. The item was probably damaged in shipping because the box it arrived in looked like the UPS driver ran over it a few times by accident. The controller is only useable indoors because it's an infra-red signal, which means sunlight will cause interference. If this was just for a kid/young adult I could justify a higher rating, but as an adult just getting into RC's I kind of hold it to a higher standard. I'm disappointed overall and I should have gone for a model with more performance instead of looks. As for the looks it's pretty awesome in flight and I enjoy the detail just the bent stuff cannot be unseen so this will likely be a donation to someone much younger in the near future.

Don't waste your money
You could buy a quality product in US for the same price. Flimsy product.I was worried about snapping the tail and main rotors off when i was taking it out of the package. Clear stickers on clear packaging makes it hard to see where the product is taped to the packaging plastic. That charging cables are cheaply made plastic and the charging port on the helicopter is so tiny it took a few tries to be able to plug in the charger. The USB part does not light up when the product is charging. This is mentioned in their poorly written startup guide. Not worth the money. Another poorly made in china product.

Very happy with this
It’s fairly easy to fly once you get it airborne. I would say for an experienced operator this has a 12” offset . If you get any closer than 12” it will go down. A good and easy to fly RC chopper . Charges quickly and it’s always charging….. which translates to I fly it all the time and love it .
