GOOD CRACKERS
I used to buy crackers in the box. They were good. But I didn't eat them everyday. They would become stale. So I purchased Lance crackers in the single serve packs. They stay fresh and crispy . They taste great!

Tastes fine but short shelf life
I got these saltines to use at our church for communion during the COVID-19 pandemic. Normally we pass a loaf of bread and each take a piece, but obviously that's not a great idea right now. These prepackaged crackers seem like a great, sanitary solution, and with 500 2-packs, they should last our small congregation half a year....Except that these have a "best by" date of one day before our next communion in less than a month. I got these on June 10, and the "best by" date is July 4 of this year. 3 and a half weeks. I like crackers and all, but that's not much time to eat 500 packs. A busy restaurant could probably manage it, but we'll likely be sharing some with the squirrels.Anyway, the crackers themselves taste fine, about like you'd expect saltines to taste. They're not overly salty and will work well anywhere you'd normally use saltines. They arrived in fine condition, with only minor breakage here and there. For the price, they can't be beat.

Fresh and tasty
The saltine crackers arrived as expected and had very few broken crackers. Taste great and would purchase again.

All Around Best, Lightest Cracker On The Market
I know saltines and by far, Lance has the best qualities one looks for in a saltine. They are light tasting, not heavy or bready like other popular brand names and they are generous with the salt. For those who use saltines to reduce nausea or are unable to eat a meal due to illness, Lance Saltines are light enough, tasty enough and satisfy a craving. Yet that’s not all. These crackers are the best for soups. Again, it’s Lance’s light, crunchy taste. I haven’t tried it yet, but I bet these crackers would make a great topping for Macaroni and Cheese. I’d recommend purchasing the individual packets as they stay fresh much longer.

Arrived stale and a lot were broken
We love Lance Saltine Crackers! For a long time they were unavailable and have gotten expensive. We’ve bought them several times and they have been great. Maybe there were problems with production due to COVID. This time they were not real fresh and a lot were broken. Hopefully, the next time we order, they will be fresher and less expensive.

Expire to quick
In a reply that the manufacturer made to a question about shelf life they said that the crackers “had an expected shelf like of 182 days.” I received my package today, July 6th, and they are expected to expire on August 10th. Saltines don’t tend to do well after their set expiration date, they lose the crunch. We are not going to be able to eat the crackers this quickly, I’d have to eat 84 crackers a week. Also, they already taste a little stale. As well as several of the crackers towards the bottom were crushed.
