Helpful for packaging lunch into fewer containers
Seems durable so far, easy to clean - portion sizes are pretty good - definitely lightens my lunch box up in place of multiple different containers

Enough for a smallish lunch
With the extra containers for maybe dessert or fruit this should hold enough to satisfy for lunch, but if this is for a hungry guy I think it is a bit too small. Plastic means it can be microwaved, that is a plus. Seems to lock tight, but I haven't tried liquids just yet.

Kids love it
My 11 year old eats like a monster so I purchased a stackable bento (like this one) for her, only to find she wants a slim bento and her 10 year old sister who eats like a bird wanted the stackable bento. That'd be cool and all if the 11 year old didn't realize how many snacks the stackable bento holds so of course now she wants to be able to bring a stackable bento the same days her sister brings her stackable bento. A mother can dream that her kids will take turns and share, right? This bento is so wonderful, I can't say enough good things about it. There are several layers that all come apart and it makes for such easy cleanup and easy packing. What I love most is the fact the lid and bottom tray aren't attached, so it makes sticking in the dishwasher much more feasible. There are three plastic utensils that come with it and they fit neatly in the first inner layer. The middle layer is where you'd put your wet/moist foods since there's a silicone seal to prevent leaks, and the bottom layer is where you'd put bulkier items. My kids love to use the bottom layer for their "entrees" like sandwiches, waffles, etc. due to there being two larger compartments and the layer being pretty deep, and the middle layer for snacks because of the shallower depth and smaller compartments. Only downside is you can't remove a layer if you don't intend to use it - the snaps on the sides only work if you have all the trays together. Not a big deal but something to consider if you think you're going to be able to swap out any pieces.Highly recommend!

Good capacity, leak-proof
This bento box is a great value for the price. The yellow layer is leak-proof, so I don’t have to worry about it getting tipped if I put yogurt, etc., there. The bottom compartment is big enough for a sandwich and side salad, the middle compartment can hold a few sides like nuts, fruit, fresh veggies, and the top could fit something low-profile like a granola bar along with the silverware. So it holds a pretty good amount, good for school lunches or a road trip. My family enjoys picnics, and I’ve found these to be a great addition. Instead of packing all the food into various containers and then dishing out on paper plates, which are prone to blow away, I just pack everyone’s lunch in these, stack them in a cooler, and then hand out at lunchtime. Definitely makes life easier. Note that the clasps only work when the entire box is put together as designed (i.e., you can’t pack just one or two layers; it has to be all three). The clasps themselves are pretty strong but work easily. I’ve tried several bento boxes that are ridiculously hard to open and completely impractical for school. This one my kids can open and close on their own. Definitely recommend.

Great for packing kid's lunches
I pack my grandson's lunch in this for preschool. He has no trouble opening it by himself and it makes him feel like a big kid. The compartments are the right size for him. Sometimes I don't even have to use them all. I like that I can throw it in the dishwasher for cleanup too.

Bento Perfection
I'm always on the hunt for storage containers for my son and nephew to use for class, picnics, hiking, and anything else. This one is great. It's stackable, so you can add a lot of food and take up little space. It seals well so you won't get any dripping. And it hold all the utensils you require on top. Awesome buy!
