Not sure if it was my eggs that were the problem or the device but this turned out to be a mess! It took some tries and it's still not exactly what I was looking for but decent.

Works as advertised, but the hole is smaller than expected
I bought this so I could make peeling hard and soft boiled eggs easier. It is easy to use, but it seems like the hole it makes is smaller than I had expected. When I first tried it out, I almost thought it didn't work because the hole was so small. My parents have an egg steamer that comes with a piecer and it makes a hole twice as big as the one I bought. I ended up having to purchase an ice pick to help make the hole bigger and it makes peeling hard boiled eggs 10x easier. So it works alright...just not as I expected.
