Great Pull-Up Bar, Solid, Easy Install
This is such a great pull-up bar, which is easy to install, and it's very strong. It comes with six expansion anchors for mounting into concrete size M10x80. I installed this by myself in about an hour and here are a few tips for doing it yourself: Tools: Hammer Drill, Ladder, Pencil, Level, Hammer, Crescent Wrench, Vice Grips or Channel Locks. 1. Measure your desired area to understand the bar in anchoring layout completely before installing anything. 2. Mark the top anchor hole for one wall bracket only, then drill the hole. 3. Set the top anchor temporarily with the wall bracket attached, then mark the remaining two holes of the wall bracket. 4. Drill the remaining two holes of the wall bracket. 5. Install the wall bracket set the anchors. The anchors should be pre-installed onto the wall bracket. 6. Hold the bar up to the wall with one end abutted against the installed bracket and mark the other end, which will be the location of the next bracket 7. Repeat the bracket installation steps indicated above. 8. Install the bar. I mounted mine with the bolt heads facing inward toward the bar, so the nuts were on the outside so as to avoid miagrabbing any bolt projection. 9. Snug-tight, as defined by AISC, is all that is needed. Do not over tighten these bolts or you will compress the hollow square brackets. I would expect installing onto a wood stud substrate will be similar process.

very sturdy with but had to buy my own hardware
I purchased this pull up bar to mount to a wall in my garage on wood studs behind drywall. The package only came with expansion bolts which are used for concrete walls so I purchased 4 inch 3/8 lag bolts to mount it to the wooden studs. It only cost me $6 at Home Depot so I’m not going to complain. The pull up bar is very sturdy and the non slip texture and width of the bar is perfect in my opinion. I think this bar is a bargain at this price which was $50 wen I ordered it. The best feature is that it sticks out farther from the wall than most pull up bars so your feet don’t hit the wall. It’s great

Professional gym quality
I wanted a pull up bar outside of my office to mirror the one at Gold’s Gym in Venice. This one looks and feels the same. It’s as wide as you’d ever need, nice grip, incredibly stable. I have one employee that weights 280lbs and another that’s 250. I’m 178 and no one could budge it. Stable as hell. It was kind of difficult to install and took a couple of hours but well worth it

Great bar, no mounting hardware
Sturdy and well built. I would have given it five stars, but it shipped with no mounting hardware, which was very annoying. Downgrading to three stars because, besides no mounting hardware, they made the bar too long. They made the bar 48” so with the mounting brackets it’s totaling 52” that means brackets DO NOT lineup with wall studs. Brackets should be 48” on center to match wall studs. So now you have to create an entire mounting surface if you are mounting on drywall with 24” studs. Complete pain in the ass and costly.

Great product for a very reasonable price.
I am 67 years old and have been doing pull ups on my pegboard for some time now. I wanted to have a pull up bar that I could use for different types of grip and hand locations. This bar worked out perfect that I could still use my pegboard and also do pullups. Very sturdy and easy to put together.

Great pull up bar. Required customizing to fit on brick wall.
Great pull up bar. Had to do some customizing to get it to be secure on my brick wall. Added some support beams and it’s rock solid now.

No clear instructions for block install.
I used the supplied bolts and drilled into a block garage wall and they don’t hold. It’s ridiculous that the only two applications are wood studs or block with no instructions for either. Bit size for block specifically. See what happens when I reach out to them. Bolts are sliding out.

I just put it up. Tested it with a few pullups and it seems great. Im 220 and hold me fine. Good price. Comes with concrete hardware. Easy to set up. My studs are 16 on center and my corner allowed for the 4ft spread.

Better than I expected. Robust, sturdy and plenty of space between wall mounts and bar. The reason I didn't give 5 star us because though bolts are sturdy, you need to chip the wall when you want to remove the equipment to a new place. Front side bolts which can easily be unscrewed would have been a better choice.

Been using for almost a year and it's still holding strong. Only comes with concrete mounting hardware so you will need lag bolts if installing on wooden studs.
