Oscar®-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele reimagines the summer movie with Nope, an expansive pop epic of uncanny science fiction. Following their father's shocking death, Hollywood animal wrangler OJ (Daniel Kaluuya) and his sister Emerald (Keke Palmer) begin observing unexplained phenomena on their vast Southern California ranch that leads them down an obsessive rabbit hole as they plot attempts to capture the mystery on camera. Along with a former child star turned family theme park ringmaster (Steven Yeun) who neighbors the siblings, the pair's efforts to chase the spectacle soon bring terrifying consequences and unimaginable horror. The result is a complex social thriller that unpacks the seeds of violence, risk and opportunism that are inseparable from the romanticized history of the American West…and from show business itself.Bonus Content:Deleted ScenesGag ReelCall Him Jean JacketMystery Man of Muybridge

Is this movie bad? Title says it all.
This is like Jaws if the shark was an alien. All of Peele's movies are incredible and full of surprising depth.

Yep. 4K is excellent.
This movie was much better than I expected. I was anticipating a low-budget horror film with a touch of sci-fi. This was exactly the opposite. First of all, the 4K version is very good, with nice resolution and superb sound. Viewed projected in 4K onto a large wall screen with surround sound cranked up, it's an immersive experience. As to the contents, it's exactly what Sci-Fi fans (like me) most appreciated: a unique take on futuristic themes. The continuing, escalating build-up of the alien monster from the skies was breathtaking, special effects jaw-dropping. The plot-changes were unexpected and awesome. The acting (particularly Daniel Kaluuya) was beyond believable, academy-award level. The scenery was grounded in beautiful farmland and horses, super-charging the surrealistic bizarre elements. Don't say "nope" to this movie if you are a sci-fi fan, just get it! This is truly a great movie, taking the roller-coaster sci-fi, horror plot to a new level. It's a 4K feast without the need of tummy aches or regurgitation (amazing sequences in film). Yep, it is a very satisfying 4K, big-budget, major Sci-Fi movie. It leaves the viewer with not just thrills but intriguing questions leading to new life-insights! Also, the extras included are just wonderful, brilliantly shot in 4K plus illuminating the basis to the whole project. Get it just for the extras! Bravo to all those involved in making this masterpiece!
