We were looking for mid century modern design, comfortable and matching our hook table chairs. These are perfect matches. I got covers for the seats because I have a kitty who already destroyed 4 other chairs and they still look great with covers on. I like the backs are not tall, almost leveled with the height of the table - these creates a modern, light design to my kitchen hook.

Was looking for the perfect chair to accent our live edge table. I didn’t want a chair that was higher than the top of the table, nor one that competed with the table. These chairs compliment the table and atoll Keeps it the focus.

I was surprised how good these chairs are. The wood is solid, assembly was pretty simple and they look beautiful.

For the money, it's ok for 2 chairs. Note that the back, due to curvature, is made up of at least 2 pieces of wood. Paint quality varies. Ensure to follow instruction to the last step ensuring the chair does not wobble.Now the poor instructions - for novice like me, I follow the directions to the latter. WRONG!!!! As another reviewer pointed out, the washers on the paper instruction were incorrect. Put the large flat washer on the bolt, then the spring washer at the bottom. Now you could use this procedure to screw all the bolts in.Do not tighten until the chair is balanced.Good news - this is the first piece of furniture (other than Ikea) that comes with extra bolts and washers. Kudos!The wife is thinking of getting another pair, now that she knows what she is buying.Update 2-24-23Got our 2nd pair. Took just about as much time to assemble. The corner screws are tricky, just as the 1st pair. Power tool is not recommended since the holes on the chairs/legs are fairly fragile. I would not recommend these chairs for folks over 200 pounds either. Personally I added a cushion for my comfort. Wife is OK without it. At my age, I have no regret to donate these or give them away later on. You do get what you paid for. When comparing to similar designed chairs from West Elm, they are better quality but equally tedious to assemble, but at less than half the cost.

We purchased three sets of chairs and are satisfied with the overall product appearance. Unfortunately, one chair in the set lacks the expected finishing quality compared with the others. When attempting to open a claim, Amazon redirected us to the manufacturer, Christopher Knight, who, in turn, sent us back to Amazon. ;-)

The chair is absolutely gorgeous and great quality. It was easy to put together and works great with other MCM furniture. I decided not to keep the chairs because they didn't work with my dining table. The 2 styles competed (MCM with modern). I would definitely recommend pairing this chair with a very simple table or one that has the same legs. Sad to be returning but would definitely recommend. Wish they had a matching table because I would buy it.

Arrived missing two front legs.Great chair but I can only build one.Happy to change rating if I can get replacement legs.If you see this on the review page, consider it a red flag.
