Wearing them feels like walking on a trampoline
These shoes saved my life. Well, not quite, but they saved my job, my feet, knees and back. I'm a fat man, so my joints and back take a bit of a beating everyday. Then I got a new job were I was on my feet on a concrete floor for most of the day. After a week I was having so much pain in my back and knees and feet that I could barely get through the day. I would have to stop and lean on something or sit down. I tried gel inserts in my shoes and they really helped, for about 2 days and then they were worn out. I was becoming desperate and searched for a solution. These shoes are it. Wearing them feels like walking on a trampoline, I get through the whole day with no pain at all in my back, knees or feet. I don't want to wear my old shoes anymore. Every time I try it wish I had just worn these as soon as my feet hurt at all. I have had them for 4 months now and I wear them almost every day. They are still in great shape, and I will buy another pair. Worth every penny.=== ONE YEAR UPDATE ===I have worn these shoes to work evey day for a year. I don’t wear other shoes to work anymore. I just ordered replacement heels and insoles from z-coil and my shoes feel just like new again.

Awesome shoe that’s customizable!
In my new job I stand on slanted concrete for 8 hours a day. My feet were in excruciating pain after the first few days. I spent a small fortune at some “good feet stores” that sold me arch supports that did not work. I could barely walk, with or without shoes on, a week after buying the supports. I bought these shoes and within two days my “excruciating and debilitating” foot pain was reduced to a mild discomfort... and still lessening with each day of work. I am 6’2” tall and weigh 400lbs. I have absolutely NO qualms having spent the $300 on this shoe. I chose the “enclosed coil” design just because I didn’t want to spend the time explaining the shoe to 50 people a day.****if you want to really do it right, register with Z-coil directly through their website and you’ll (A) receive a emailed coupon for 15% off in about a week (following the instant 10%) they send right away... and (B) you can order the proper coil (there are four different weight sizes available) already installed on your shoe for the perfect level of comfort. In all fairness I did combine the perfect arch support insert in this shoe for maximum benefit because of my weight. Overall... an awesome, well-made shoe that looks like it will last a very long time!!

Half sizes matter
I have worn these coil shoes on and off now for a few days. I am on my feet at work walking most of the day. (My other shoes being Gdefy walking shoe and I am extremely happy with them) I wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10 as suggested because with this coil shoe half sizes are not available. I put in the spacer as instructed. My feet seem to move around inside the shoe too much...I seem to trip on everything and anything when walking. I'm going to try a different shoe insert to see if this makes a difference. (I have many) I have noticed that the coil has gotten softer with use. (A good thing) We'll see if the inserts will help. For the cost of this shoe I would think that more would be put into providing a better fit/size. But I don't make shoes and do not know all of the details involved. I'm getting old and my feet are telling me about it.

Coils broke after 7 week.
They were great until they broke 7 weeks after wearing them. A metal pin broke that held the spring in place snapped so the spring and case started spinning whichever way while I was at work. The same day, near the end of my shift, I took a step and the whole spring just fell off and I had to pocket the heel and walk funny the rest of my shift. The good news is - I'm still able to return them via Amazon.Update:Original order in Jan2019. I've replaced the broken shoes after thre first 7 weeks. The new pair lasted a while but I've had another problem with the coils. The welding has broken that holds the threaded piece to the coil where the screw holds thre coil to the shoe heel. I tried industrial strength glue to repair which lasted for a month or so. I eventually had to order another set of coils from the company's website ($60/pair) and I glued them for reinforcement before I installed them on the shoes. Thet have since held up for almost two years. As far as reducing pain (I'm a nurse in a long-term care facility), I would say they work but I'm never pain-free through an entire shift.

WARNING UPDATE : NOT SLIP RESISTANT / People said that they are ugly but they are very comfy.
Lol So i purchased this product for a friend and she said that they are really comfortable at work but people called her shoes ugly though. Smh it's not about the look of the shoe ; it's about the feel of them.Update : june 16, 2018 @ 0122 hrs --> so ok i spent $300 for these shoes and tell me why that the bottom of the outsoles of the shoes are Not slip resistant ; my friend said she almost slipped down at work several times . smh SO Z-COIL ARE YOU LYING AND SPREADING FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS???? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU MAKE A "WORK" SHOE AND AS COMFORTABLE AS IT IS AND THEN LIE ABOUT THE COMPLETE DESIGN SAYING THAT IT'S ( " SLIP RESISTANT") I AM SO ANGRY BECAUSE THESE SHOES COST THE SAME AS VERSACE JEAN SNEAKS AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO PASSED THIS SHOE OFF AS A " SLIP RESISTANT" WORK SHOE. 😒😒😡😡
