This is really drying and very unflattering. I like the breakfast club idea but none of the characters wore this color. The color Clare wears in Clinique in black honey.

Breakfast Club is one of those movies that if I'm flipping by, I have to stop and watch it until the end. I was a senior in high school when the film came out, and I identified with every character in it at some point in my teenage life. When I saw this movie tie-in palette available on Vine, I requested it and here we are. This review is for: Physicians Formula The Breakfast Club Collection Murumuru Butter Bronzer, Blush, Highlighter Face Po...The box comes exactly as pictured with a cellophane seal across the top. At first glance, I thought these colors were way too vibrant for me. But, as it turned out, they were not. When the colors go on, they are not as bright as they are in the box, if that makes any sense. For me, that was perfect! You can build on the blushes, bronzers and the highlights. All of the colors come out very light on my skin and if I need an extra boost I can keep layering until I get the look I'm after. Each of these feel great on my skin and I had no adverse reactions of any kind.I have found that these do need to be touched up throughout the day. I find that if I touch up on my lunch hour, I'm good for the afternoon. If you're looking for a look in the morning that is going to last until late night, you're probably going to need to touch up a few more times throughout the day.Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by this nostalgic movie tie-in makeup!

I really like this shade of lipstick, and it is my go-to shade, pretty much every day for daytime use. I have not used Physicians Formula in over 20 years, but then they did this amazing tribute to one of my very favorite movies growing up, and I am in love!This adorable “pretty in pink”, with a touch of warm peach lipstick glides on nicely, has a nice matte finish, feels like my natural lips (no “slippery” or “greasy” feel). It doesn’t dry lips out, yet lasts throughout the typical day, and has no strong scents for those that are scent-sensitive when applying it.As if that isn’t enough, Physicians Formula does not test on animals, is gluten-free, and paraben-free! All pluses for me!My particular lipstick has a misspelling “I Don’t Like Monday’s” but it does not detract from the quality or beauty of the product, just mentioning it.I am still giving this lipstick 5 stars because I love the lipstick. From it’s iconic artwork and references to the movie, from the pink lipstick container the lipstick shade is in, it screams 1980’s, TOTALLY! It is perfect for my fair, pink-toned skin, and I am definitely sold on Physicians Formula because of their commitment to providing a high quality product with a conscience, with beauty you can feel good about.

I was excited to see a palette that was Breakfast Club themed. It's my youth. It's fun. I was interested to see what makeup looks could be produced with this one.Goes so well with the theme. All the names of each tray are based off something in the movie, of course. I also appreciated that the theme was still simple and not too flashy. It highlighted the movie but kept the focus on the makeup. It's the little details that make it special.2 bronzers, 2 blushes, 2 highlighters. All very pretty. Buttery soft, the colors are all complimentary. A simple combination that's fairly good for all skin tones and looks. It's not very vibrant. The looks I created on myself was very "Claire vibes" and if you know, then you know. Just fresh and not too drastic. Classic.It's actually a good palette to have as a starting point. The simple palette that's everyday wear. The texture application is buttery, but it takes layering to see any vibrancy. Doesn't last all day without a touch up or two. Still, I think it's a pleasing palette with the convenience of several types of product all in one. Those are always my favorite palettes. Bonus: No skin irritations, no unpleasant odor, price matched product performance in my opinion and in my experience.

I've tried at least one other product from this brand and it was very recent. I don't recall trying/using anything else from this brand unless it was many years ago...like a decade or more. I really like this palette! I like how the shades look on me. I'm pretty pale and these aren't too dark on me. Plus, they're buildable. And blend well. They have great pigment. They're lasting. Overall- I'm happy with the quality and I'm loving the product so far. Plus, fun theme. It's also a good price and the palette will likely last me a while 💁‍♀️
