My daughter is obsessed with the large ones of these at the seaside, and it was all she wanted for her 6th Birthday. We were sceptical after reading the reviews but got it anyway as she was so desperate for one.The size is fine, but it took a bit of trial and error finding the right sort of sweets to go inside. The first few hours she couldn't get anything much and got quite frustrated with it. We began to think it was a waste of money - but then something clicked and she began to get something every time! We found small packets of sweets such as mini packs of love hearts, Parma violets and individually wrapped chocolates such as Celebrations or Heroes worked best. You can also put small toys in such as bouncy balls, num nums, or shopkins. Now she loves it, and it has literally been the only thing she has played with for the last 5 days!The ONLY downside is the consistent music. I didn't think it was too loud as others have said, but it gets in your head and goes on, and on, and on.....

Don’t bother! Bought one for my daughter for Christmas and it didn’t work. Was very kindly sent out another one and within a few seconds that didn’t work either. The issue is the claw....the first one, the claw wouldn’t move to the right and the second one, we got as far as putting sweets in it and within one go, the claw would not move up. This was not down to any heavy handedness or over excitement...just in my opinion a poor product. Never reviewed a product before but felt I had no choice here.

My daughter (5) got this for her birthday since seeing it on YouTube filled with surprise eggs and it didn’t disappoint. I was in two minds as it has so many bad reviews but I thought why not let’s just go for it.First the good- it has a rather strong claw and it easily picks up the surprise eggs, sweets, chocolates and most things we put in there. It also seems very sturdy and I love that when you win it gives a little cheer. It really is a cute little arcade classic and we love it.The bad- as per most reviews it’s annoying that you can’t turn off the music. It’s the same music over and over again which is annoying. Also a few times, mid play it just stops and we have to put another coin in to start it. But to be honest this doesn’t take away the fun.I would give this 8/10 and would highly recommend! I didn’t expect it to be as good as it is actually and have one very happy girl

Bought this product as a Christmas present, as standard started Xmas shopping in October. Daughter unwrapped the gift on Xmas day only to find it does not work.One of the battery connections is very loose which I suspect is the reason why it doesnt work. Foolishly started Xmas shopping early and Amazon don't cover October as part of their extended Xmas warranty. Therefore we are stuck with a broken toy a wasted £20, & a very disapointed and upset 6 year old.As such I can not recommend the product to anyone as the one I received is broken and not fit for purpose.

DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! bought this Christmas gift for my little boy in in half an hour it stopped working it will go up and down/backward and forward/ BUT won't go left or right my little boy was gutted I would like this replacing so would appreciate if someone got back to me I will be sending a email to the company regarding my frustrations about this toy
