MagSafe is weak and causes issues mounted as falls off and charging issues also. Shame as I’ve never had issues with UAG in the past. Edit: Stopped using after a weak as MagSafe is so weak, not fit for purpose.

I've purchased 8 UAG cases over the years for my iPads and iPhones. I've always liked the way they looked but every single case felt like cheap plastic. I still have a UAG case on my flight iPad & you can easily bend the case, the screws are plastic and fake, I've dropped my iPad from about 2' and a piece of the plastic broke off. You could tell they were more worried about looks than actual protection. However, this case has changed the game. It's the first case I've used that feels extremely solid and has a good weight to it. I really hope they introduce this Kevlar style case to future iPhones and ipads. Cons: This case does support wireless charging & it does say it is magsafe compatible. I've used a leather apple case with magsafe since introduction & this is the first UAG case Ive used with magsafe. The leather case never fell off my cars magesafe holder, but this case falls off very easily. I drive over a bump & it falls right off. That never happened with my leaheer magsafe case. It does have a "mag"net but I wouldn't call it "safe".
