Best mesh trays out there!
These are the best mesh trays you will ever find for design or durability. Made in the USA.I bought the regular mesh trays and was so impressed that I bought the shallow/ microgreen mesh trays as well!

Long lasting and can hold a lot of weight without buckling
Great and well built. Very difficult to break and we use them year after year.

Worth every penny
I have gardened for many of my 70+ years and have broken and thrown away more trays, pots, etc. than I care to think about. No more! This is my second order of this type tray. Also have the 1020 no holes, 50 cube seed starters with tall covers and shallow 1020 with holes, all of which are excellent. They are thick enough, even full of seedlings, to be picked up at the end with one hand and not worry about cracking. Am hardening off about 400 plants now and quality products like these make it so much easier and faster to move trays in and out of the greenhouse. The cost may be more up front but I think within 2 years the cost will average out with the cheaply made type that have to be replaced every year. Highly recommend Bootstrap Farmer products.

Very durable!
I love Bootstrap Farmer's trays. They are way stronger and less flexible than any other tray I've used. I've had many plants flip out of other trays when the middle bows, or edges flex. No more!I have mesh trays for all my solid 1020 trays. It makes bottom watering a lot easier, you can just lift all the plants out together and set the mesh in a dry 1020. The mesh is also nice when I'm hardening off seedings and it's rainy, I don't want them sitting in water in the solid trays.Shipping was way faster than the stated arrival on Amazon! :)

Not as big as a standard 1020 tray.
Although sold as a 1020 tray, they are smaller than usual. Interior dimensions at the base are 19 inches long by 9 inches wide. The trays are a bit over 2.25 inches deep. The top lip outer edge dimensions are 20.75 inches by 10.75 inches. The standard humidity dome that I have is a bit loose fitting on these trays. They definitely appear to be more sturdy than the typical 1020 tray, and I think they will do the job.

Super Sturdy, LOVE these trays!!
If you are garden-obsessed like myself and find yourself with a ton of seedlings and other potted plants, you'll eventually need these mesh bottom trays to transport your pots and make watering a breeze, without worrying that your pots will be sitting in water and rotting out the roots. I hybridize hibiscus and sprout a lot of seedlings, which must be transplanted into 2-inch pots, and the 2-inch pots all line up and fit nicely in these trays, along with some of my other hand-made trays: tofu containers, Solo cups cut to the right height, bottoms of soda bottles, yogurt cups and dessert cups.Initially I was worried that the raised ridges inside the tray would unbalance my pots, but I've found no such problems. I also prefer these trays over the square "daisy trays" as this brand/design is way more sturdier and will last a long time.I paid about $8.00 per tray on Amazon, and got 10 trays total in a pack...very much worth it!

Good trays for sprouting greens
Good trays for sprouting greens. They are plenty sturdy for me. They don't bend much. I was sprouting Buckwheat for my chickens while they were cooped up for the winter time and couldn't forage as much. I just filled a single layer of buckwheat seeds on the bottom of the mesh tray then inserted the mesh tray into the bottom tray and filled with enough water to cover the seeds. then I would lift the mesh tray several times to give them a good rinse once in the morning and once at night. put the humidity dome on and turn the heat mat on. Voila.I used these humidity domes.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y3E55G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1and these bottom trays work great to set the mesh trays into.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BKOG616/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1Also, I recommend the vivosun heat mats - seems like a good one as far as the mat being a bit stiffer than usual run of the mill mats that are all floppy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P7U259C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P7U259C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sturdy
I was looking for something more sturdy than typical paper thin flimsy plastic stuff. This one is sturdy enough to last a while. I'm leased with it.
