Great/Cheap starter Kit for a DDR5 Platform!
I have been thinking about upgrading my motherboard to another z690 that supports DDR5 to future proof my build for longer and this Kit helped a lot! I was using a DDR4 only Z690 from gigabyte and then I just got a z690-E from ASUS and the ram worked fine! Both dimms got to 5600Mhz from tweaking settings in the bios!

Good entry-level DDR5
I was outfitting my first DDR5 system, and didn't want to break the bank, so I went with these Teamgroup DIMMs.They're not the fastest DDR5, but speed for cost is good. These benchmark right in the middle for their speed. I haven't tried to overclock them.

excellent ram for getting into DDR5
DDR5 at this point in time, 02-26-2023, is still rather expensive compared to DDR4. If you have a motherboard that requires DDR5, this is an excellent kit to get you started until the prices for more performant DDR5 drops down to poverty levels. That being said, the kit does perform well in games if you're a casual player like myself, but if you love to chase the highest FPS, the kit may only serve as a stop-gap in your situation until, again, more performant stuff drops in price.I do specifically like the look of bare RAM modules as opposed to modules with heatsinks strapped on, gives a more computery look that I really enjoy. That being said, i will likely upgrade in the future, and these DIMMs will perform well as test DIMMs for test benches, but it will be a hard pressed decision, as there really is no reason to upgrade unless you're a professional gamer. Most people will do just fine on these types of low cost DIMMs while still looking amazing in the system.I have really come to trust team group as my source for RAM and SSD product source, nearly all my PCs use team group products for both the categories and they all run flawlessly.

Hynix IC?
As you may have noticed, the product title has "Hynix IC. SK Hynix is (as of this review) the best DDR5 manufacturer and leads in overclocking and high-clock speed RAM. This review is more based on kits from people I've helped get the best performance from the SK Hynix IC teamgroup elite (which includes single dimm versions). My original product when it came to me seemed to already be opened, so I had to return it.Teamgroups have been changing their kits around from M-DIE (best for Ryzen, can be tight for latency) to A-DIE (best for Intel high frequency, latency "compares" at high). The dual kits that I've seen so far have mostly been A-die and, on the rare occasion, M-die, as you can check by the labeling on the small chips on the ram (google the numbering X----). These sticks are great as you won't have to personally take heatsinks off of other kits, and you can use your own thermal pads. This allows you to functionally take control of your memory and keep it stable. Many companies working on DDR5 products are mishandling their products by not putting thermal pads on the PMIC (the DDR5 VRM Controller gets hot) and cheapening out on thermal tape, which causes your sticks to get hot over time and reduces their performance. For most people, if you are using an Intel system with a "decent" motherboard/cpu combo, you can probably get near 7000 mhz with some time tuning the numbers and voltages. I was able to get 8000 mhz stable through VST/TM5, for example, but your milage may vary.

Worked great for 2 months of normal use then DIED
Got this RAM and it worked great for about two months, speeds as advertised and no issues. Then my PC started randomly dying while being used, and ultimately it stopped booting altogether, hanging on the RAM (according to the motherboard LED, plus testing I did with all the other components). Very notably, BOTH sticks of RAM are causing a hang. Apparently with returns TEAMGROUP makes YOU pay for the shipping. Given both sticks of RAM died during standard usage, I'm very pessimistic on whether or not anything will come of it, but I've emailed them about the RMA and we'll see if anything comes of it.

Great value priced memory!
Used this for a budget build and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and speed. Priced very well.

A little more RAM never hurt anyone...
Put it in my Dell PC to help with the Adobe CC software overhead. Seems to work great. Solved some of my issues with Photoshop image processing slowly or crashing.

Not 6400
So my b650 has not xmp profile for this memory it defaults to 5200 I put it to 6400 and it crashes right away tried 6200 crashes with 5 min.. 6000 works fine no issues.

Works great
16gb (2x8gb) 5200 mhz.I had bought this kit as a stand in while I RMA a larger kit from a different brand. This kit has been great and pretty much plug and play. I enabled XMP in BIOS and haven’t had any stability issues or other. The kit is currently in my workstation/personal rig while a larger kit is being RMA’d. While the size limits my use cases, this could serve others as a great budget option for their main kit. 16gb is still pretty good in the current landscape of applications, especially if your main use is gaming.Speaking of gaming. I haven’t experienced any issues while gaming with this kit. Especially with games that are notorious for their bad caching and RAM usage like Tarkov. Most other games run fine alongside other applications running in the background. I’m also very disorganized when it comes to multiple tabs open in a browser, so this kit has been handling my browsers like a champ.I’m overall satisfied with this kit. I’ll probably keep it around for testing mobo’s and as a replacement kit in a pinch.

Great for the price if you need low profile.
It is a shame that my Maxsun Z790m d5 Terminator could not qork qith them, but on a B760M PG Riptide they are fine, easy oc to around 6800 cl32 while staying at around 55C.
