Baby Video Monitor - HD WiFi Camera with Audio and Video - Best Nanny & Pet Cam for Home Security Surveillance with Infrared Night Vision, Motion Detect and Remote Control

This camera lasted about two days. I purchased it in order to be able to monitor our baby during a vacation. This uses wifi so it seemed like a better bet than the over the radio monitor we use at home. The camera had to be reset to work on the resort's network but it would not. I probably damaged the reset button because I had to fish around in there with a pin in order to get it to work the first time I set it up; it also seems that the reset button/contact/whatever is not directly under the hole. I am sure I could have fixed if I had my tools, but they did not have what I needed at the resort.Needless to say, this camera did not work at all as intended. I am sure this could be a solid product with some minor tweaks so here are some suggestions (I am a product manager for a tech company, by the way):1. Make the reset a software function accessible through a phone, i.e., make the camera emit a wifi signal at all times that could be used set up an ad-hoc network in order to reset it. This is not a new feature, other cameras do this. Barring this, make the reset button an actual button or a combination of buttons that are unlikely to be pressed by accident. Since the reset is a vital part of the setup, it needs to be foolproof.2. Every baby monitor needs a "wake up" feature. I.e., it should alarm you if there is noise so that you do not have to keep the app running at all times. You could probably do this within the app though it might be better to do it with the camera firmware.3. It sounds like you guys are an Italian company given the grammar mistakes in the user interface and the company name. I find that a lot of Italians think they speak English when they, in fact, do not (I go to Milan for work a few times per year). The English in the UI is so poor that it makes one feel like they're dealing with a child or a stupid person. I would strongly encourage you to hire an English speaker for a few hours to get all that sorted. It is frankly embarrassing.

I purchased this baby cam to watch my dogs while I am at work. My dog has been getting sick often and I wanted to see what he is doing/getting into while I am not around. I’m really glad I purchased this, it is affordable and a great value for the price. The setup was fairly easy and the instruction manual was simple and easy to follow. I was a little nervous because I’m not much of a tech person but I was able to set it up by myself. You have to download the app onto your smartphone which only took a minute. The video quality was great, better than my home security camera. You can set it up to alert you with noise or motion and you can change around the angles to get more views. The two way feature is really neat, I can definitely see ourselves using this baby cam when we have kids. You can add multiple cams to the app so in the future that could be really handy to have. All in all, this is totally worth the money and we will most likely invest in another one or two devices so that we can better monitor dogs and kids in the house.

So I thought I was getting swindled by this monitor as most of the ratings were 5 stars and I couldn't even get the thing to connect with the instructions from the box. Then I decided to do a little research and found some say to connect the device and then it will work. So I connected the ethernet cable to my router and the connection was there, then I changed the setting to Wifi and it was able to connect. I then unplugged the ethernet cord to make sure it really connected. It did. Now I am able to watch from anywhere, I can see what my dog does all day!! I'm giving it four stars due to poor directions.

We initially bought one of these to replace a baby monitor that no longer worked. After we got it, we liked it so much, we bought two more so that we could monitor both kid bedrooms and the main room. The picture quality is great - especially the night vision. The app was easy to install and set up shared access for myself and my husband. The app allows you to talk (to calm a crying baby, for example), and you can also take snapshots. The only downside so far is that you have to pan the camera by swiping your phone with your finger, and it's a bit cumbersome to pan across the whole room. Otherwise, for the price, you can't beat it!

Camera Video was great and it connected very well to the iPhone on both WiFi and Cellular. On the negative side, neither YYP2P or Yousee app worked with Droid phone or believe it or not, with three different Windows PC's (W7, W8.1, W10). Tech Support could not provide any helpful suggestions. Lost a lot of time troubleshooting and since I could not dedicate my iPhone for this purpose, had to abandon use of the camera. Shame because I believe the camera is outstanding for the price point.

I really liked this camera initially. It was really easy to set up and the picture quality was decent both day and night. I like that I can record as well as listen and talk through it. What I don't like is that you cannot monitor it if your phone is not on wifi and I cannot use it on my mac. I purchased this specifically because reviews and comments stated that this could be monitored on cellular data (which is false, mine just gives me a network error message if I am not connected to wifi) and there is no way that i have found that I can monitor it from my Macbook. Finally, when I went in and set up motion detection, I immediately started getting notifications even though no one was in that room. They continued to pop up every 30 seconds or so until I finally just deactivated motion detection. Very disappointing.

The camera itself is pretty good. Kinda a pain to set it up but otherwise nor bad. My complaint is put of two of these that I havr purchased, the pronges in both the power cords have completely detached and stay left in my wall socket. They wouldn't even send me a new cord, told me I could purchase one in store. So I ended up having to get one at my local walmart for $20 more. Very frustrating.

We use this for our door at work. We have to buzz people in and got tired of being tied to the front door. It is very difficult to pair with a phone. We actually had to get IT to do it and still could not get it to work on an iphone. Put our receptionist had an android phone and it worked perfectly.
