I do like how all the tools come with. I did like the selection of beads but I bought this thinking it came with feathers. The faux hair does not even look like a feather in person. I do use the tinsel a lot tho.

These are great, and I love that they come with the tools. You can buy more of the “feathers” or fairy hair pieces individually after buying this. The feathers are basically synthetic hair. They look great in my 9 year old’s hair, and at this price point, she can change colors easily and relatively often. I’m sure it isn’t great for her hair to clamp something on it, but a feather here or there shouldn’t cause too much issue and is less permanent than hair dye. My daughter received a lot of compliments from her friends when she wore her feather to school.

This is a great product for the price. Yes the feathers aren't real feathers, but when you fix your hair they look so good and cute in them.

Read the add more carefully than I did! Feather hair is not feathers for your hair….it’s very poor quality synthetic hair. Does not at all look like feathers. I know I won’t be putting in my hair. The tools in the kit are fine so I’ll keep those and buy real feathers elsewhere.

This was a great kit! I don’t have any experience and this was easy enough for me to do. I put a bunch of the glitter and “feathers” (which are just like colored striped hair not really feathers) in my hair for quarantine fun.My suggestions is to put 3-10 strands of glitter (you could do more for a dramatic look) or one feather in each micro bead. Make sure there is about an inch of hair that will fall over it because they microbeads will show if there isn’t enough falling over it.For the glitter strands I fed them through first then tied a loose not to keep them in place. I then fed the hair through and clamped the bead tight. Then I untied the glitter and trimmed it to my hair length. I found this to be the easiest way to not have the glitter get pulled out or knotted while feeding the hair through. Having someone help you would also probably be a good idea if hair isn’t really your thing.

While the hair tinsel itself looks decent. The tools are very poor quality. The pliers have sharp metal shaving and grease all over them and the wooden tools seem very flimsy. But I guess for the price, you get what you pay for.
