Deep Roots / Starlet Nights [DVD]

Save your money.

I wasn't sure if the dvd was worth buying since I already own the something weird video DVD version of Deep Roots. Man I'm glad I did,The Vinegar Syndrome DVD looks so new and beautifully restored I can't help wonder how the other DVD's by this company must look like. I just might get a few more.

This one is OK.

Older films from when I was in college with the sorority girls. Was kind of nostalgic to look back on the older porn flicks, and they at least attempt to have a story line, weak as most of them are. Watch it with your sweetie!

2 thoroughly enjoyable movies here, neither of which I was previously familiar with. However, I AM familiar with Leslie Bovee.......she's the reason I purchased this DVD in the first place. God, was this babe was HOT back in the day! Thank you "Vinegar Syndrome" for re-creating some very pleasant memories for me. 70's porn RULES!

This is another offering from Vinegar Syndrome, a company which restores and remasters vintage porn films from the 1970s. Not all the blemishes are removed but the end result is far better than VHS. The first film, Deep Roots, is about an Indian (Jesse Chacan) from a reservation who gets on his motorcycle and then has his way with a variety of women before deciding that there is no place like home. The film is very explicit with plenty of close-up hot action leaving nothing to the imagination. The second film, Starlet Nights is a porn version of Snow White. Porn legend Leslie Bovee plays the wicked stepmother who hates her stepdaughter so much that she intends to reveal that Snow is not as pure and innocent as is believed. There is plenty of explicit sex, both boy/girl and girl/girl and it ends with an orgy scene. These two films are not the best that Vinegar Syndrome has put out so far but they present a taste of vintage porn.

Yep I'm one of those traditionalists who appreciate that golden/blonde/black "triangle"..plenty of that on show..thank god...and the delicious and ample "Anita Sands" is great in Deep Roots.athough her co-stars don't seem to have a lot of wood...if you know what i mean! The Indian lead heads off on his motorbike bangs everyone and then when he's had enough heads back to the reservation!! Starlet Nights is ok but not as good as Deep Roots...excellent classic vintage double bill!!
