Alfred's Easy Guitar Songs -- Rock & Pop: 50 Hits from Across the Decades

I first bought a beginners guitar book and learned some notes and how to position and stretch my fingers. I then bought an easy chord book and learned many easy chords. Then I bought this songbook which contains many songs that I love. It lists the chords, suggests strumming patterns for each song, etc. I have been practicing with a couple of songs to begin with and I am now playing guitar. Feels great!!

Giving as gift to a guitar player

Been playing guitar for less than a year and wanted a more "permanent" tab system to read while learning songs besides from YouTube. Unlike YouTube where I have to pause, rewind, and skip forward during a video to read the tab section, the book shows the tab and music on the page, allowing me to focus on the music than on the pause button.

I bought this book with some magnetic picks, which made a very good present. It is a book of easy to learn songs, and for guitar. He has been trying several of these songs, they are rock songs, which makes it fun. It is a well put together book. Looks strong, and has already been handled and moved around a bit, and still looks in good shape. Try it!

I like everything about this book

I'm learning to play a guitar via lessons so I have a basic knowledge. I enjoy this book and learning these songs, but calling it a beginner book is a stretch.

Je suis très content les partitions sont très simple (ligne mélodique) et en plus il propose une pattern rythmique. Celui qui à créé ses partions à vraiment pensé à des débutants, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas quand ont vois easy sur la couverture. Et pour ceux qui ont 4 bras (ou un looper) ont peux jouer le rythme et la mélodie au piano ou à la guitare et en ajoutant une boite a rythme l'affaire est dans le sac !!!

Very easy to follow the tabs and chords in this book as a beginner to guitar playing, would recommend it.

Le tab di tanti brani famosi, sono un buona raccolta per eseguirle ad un livello basico. Per eseguirle al meglio ho fatto comunque ricorso ha dei video su YouTube, per stare nei tempi d'esecuzione.
