This is a solid built AED /medical cabinet. It is made of solid metal and is glossy white powered coated. The cabinet looks semi-outdoor weather-proof. I could not find any instructions if this is rated for outdoors. By design, it does not have weather sealing on the door, but could be easily installed afterwards.The cabinet comes with open-door alarm that is powered by a 9v battery (included). The alarm is triggered whenever someone opens the door. There is also a red siren type light on top of the cabinet that flashes in conjunction with the alarm.Assembly of the cabinet is easy and quick. You just need to install the front door handle and the red siren light. There are four mounting holes for you to attach to your wall of studs. The unit does NOT come with screws or wall anchors. “Simple” instructions are provided on two sheets of paper. The cabinet is about the size of a small portable refrigerator. The cabinet has AED symbols on the front and two sides for easy identification.This is a great AED cabinet/enclosure. I would not use it for outdoor purposes unless it is protected or shielded from rain or sunlight. This is an excellent, professional quality AED cabinet.Extremely well made, sturdy, with an attention to detail all the way around.Assembly is pretty straightforward. The light is mounted on the interior for shipping. You have to remove two screws on top to remove the light and mount it to the top.The same goes for the exterior handle that comes mounted to the inside for shipping.The light and siren operate off a 9 volt battery.The battery is included in the battery compartment but not connected. You do have to remove one screw to open the battery compartment and connect the battery.The light on top flashes at all times and the alarm sounds any time the door is opened.There is an on/off switch on the battery if you do not plan on using the light or alarm.Definitely a five star AED cabinet that would be perfect in any business or medical setting, or a great way to lock OTC or prescription medicines out of reach in settings where small children are present such as camps or daycares!

It’s one of those products that you hope is not used, but essential when needed.It has good visibility aspects, with a notification/alert alarm when the box is opened (issuing a general alert that an emergency is underway). The alarm wiring can be disabled/disconnected, so the box can be set up per situation needs.Wall installation is fairly easy. There are four holes already drilled on the back of the case. This case weighs about 13.25lbs. So, be sure that the case is properly affixed to the wall, able to support the combined weight of the case and equipment.The product fully matches the depictions and statements in the product details. The stainless steel body, with appropriate red text/graphics on white background, offers a sturdy AED gear enclosure. 4.75 stars.

This is a very solidly constructed AED Cabinet with Alarm functions and 2 keys. The paint job on this is almost flawless, though there are some very minor imperfections. The AED and Heart on the glass are painted, not decals.The installation wasn't too difficult, make sure to check your paperwork at the bottom of the container. It has a guide to install the alarm and the front handle. You may need 2 different sized phillips head screwdrivers for this. Make sure to put down plastic or paper to make sure you do not scratch the metal.You have to turn the battery on after you have taken apart the wires and put the lights up top. Its a very sensitive alarm and quite loud. After you close the Cabinet it will continue to blink.So finally line about this product, its well developed, though I can't speak for long term use beyond the time I have had with it so far.

In terms of the cabinet design and construction, it’s well made and everything fits well and closes well. I used to make boxes like these so I know what to look for. It’s definitely only rated for indoors.I don’t know if it’s meant to be like this but my red light flashes at all times and not just when the door is open. The alarm sounds really loud when I do open the door and the light stays flashing but I feel like the light should go off once the door is closed. No mounting hardware is included and you have to move the handle and light to the outside of the box so make sure you have a Phillips screw driver. The door latches with magnets and then looks with the latch and key. Works well. Looks nice. The powder coating is good quality. It’s not too heavy.
