For anyone posting that they are empty.... duh, you have to fill them with the confetti that comes in the little bag. Also, for anyone who isn't sheltered and has litten fuses on any firework, it's the same fuse. You need to just use common sense to know that you light it at the very end haha.These 2 shooters worked great and were a hit with all the kids and adults. I wish stuff like this was around when I was a kid. All we had were candles you could never blow out and I was content with that!I bought another pack of these for the next party, after seeing how cool and well they worked.Definitely get these if you just want a little extra satisfaction after the birthday song!

My daughter was so excited to use these on her birthday cake after she watched the video that is on here. Well these confetti poppers do not live up to their hype. We were expecting it to be like the video and spread colorful sprinkles all over the cake. That was not the case, first off the sprinkles (if you can call it that) were dark colored plain table sugar, not sprinkles. Then when the it went off, it went off prematurely (before the wick reached the end) and it barely spread the sprinkles anywhere on the cake. So buyer beware when buying this cake topper. My daughter and I were very disappointed

Fun concept but a July 4th-worthy show it's not. Upon lighting the fuse, it did indeed shoot the confetti out. But the confetti traveled maybe 2 inches above the barrel and to a diameter of maybe 3 inches? It was so modest that I actually missed it and thought it had misfired, until someone pointed out that it had indeed shot the confetti out. Cute idea, but it's scaled to work on maybe a single cupcake, not a full sized birthday cake.

I purchased 2 packs of these candle poppers for my wife's 50'th birthday. They didn't pop up in the air at all. Nothing like the display pictures . My kids and grndbabies were all excited for glitter to go everywhere and it whent about an inch over the candle. Absolutely a let down. I would never purchase this again. Kinda sucked when it was a suprise bday and the babies wanted to suorise grandma.
