We'd had our previous CCTV system for over 11 years. It'd been moved over that time across four properties.. and it was still working fine up to a few weeks ago. Bought from Maplin, it was a low res analogue system, but suited our needs over the years. That said it went pop, and I started looking online for a replacement. What drew me to this system, was the fact that I could use my existing BNC/12v cabling. It was a doddle to set up. I quickly plugged in all my original cameras, and bingo up and running. I thereafter replaced the old cameras for the new HD ones, and was stunned by the increase in quality and the wide angled nature of the views compared to my previous ones. On my previous system, it was a nightmare setting up router port forwarding to view the CCTV online. Not with the Annke system, it was a total piece of cake. It works great on the Android app, and with regards to viewing on the laptop, it transpired that I could view the cameras on my existing EZVIZ PC software, which was a totally unexpected bonus. So now we can view our external CCTV Annke cameras and our internal IP wireless EZVIZ cameras all in the same place.So I was genuinely delighted by the system, it was working fantastically, and all at a great value price.About 10 days in, it did however develop a problem. The hard drive failed, and it was showing "abnormal" in the settings and it wouldn't record or playback. I contacted Amazon, and their response was to send the entire kit back for a refund. This wasn't acceptable, as I just wanted either the box replacing as a unit or for a new hard drive. Ultimately I requested that they give me contact details for the seller. After common sense correspondence with the seller, they had me carry out various test. I was lucky in that I had an old hard drive lying around, and ws able to swap it out. It worked perfectly for days, but as soon as I put the old one back in, it would fail within minutes. It was conclusive that the hard drive had failed. The seller arranged a replacement hard drive and asked me to be patient. In all honesty I expected it to take weeks for it to arrive, but the reality was that arrived in two days! Great customer service.So now the new 1TB is running perfectly, and we're really happy with it. You couldn't have asked for more. Going down Amazons route of returning the whole kit would've taken an age to take everything down, repackage, and then have to reinstall everything... so we were really happy with the sellers helpful approach.Anyway I'll wrap it up there, hope this review is helpful.Thanks for reading.

Great camera system. Had other camera systems that keep dropping out when trying to view on line, losing connection and generally just playing up.These cameras NO ISSUES what so ever. They are great perfect picture lots of features to keep a great picture. The instant replay is a wonderful option. Picture quality is spot on. The night vision is the best I’ve seen. Motion detection is great. You are able to narrow or select the area where you want to set a detection. So if you live near a road you can set the motion detection for the edge of your property so it isn’t activated every time a car goes by. The continuous recording is great and real easy to use.Overall a great system really easy to use and setup.

After lots of debate, I decided to get a cctv system. It is to help protect my work van and property.I didn't want to break the bank but wanted one that worked.I looked for a few weeks online at reviews and it turns out most budget systems are the same but re branded.I chose Annke because it was well within my budget and did everything needed.The system arrived from Amazon on Friday at 5pm.I had installed it by 7pm.It was so easy I wished I had got one years ago.The picture quality is good for the money.Night vision is good too. I got a 1TB harddrive in mine and 2 cameras.I will definitely add some better quality cameras.I have ordered a ethernet cable so I can run the cameras on my phone.It is a simple system that the average person can buy and install at a very small cost to protect their property.I think it is good value for the money.

I bought this two camera system in order to monitor the front and rear of my property, we have a private car park at the rear and have had a couple of incidents just recently.Its incredibly easy to install, all of the wires are fully and clearly marked, you really cannot go wrong. The hardest part was getting into my loft/roof space and making my way to the edge in order to feed the wires through a hole that I had drilled in the soffit from the outside.The cameras are so light they can be screwed to a plastic soffit or facia and still be very secure. The control box is also a breeze to set up and plug in, download the Annke vision app, scan the QR code and away you go.Picture quality is surprisingly good considering the cost of the system, bright images with good colour and definition during the day, not so great at night but I suppose that is to be expected at this price point.Even if you do not have a need for cctv you should fit something like this anyway, just in case.

Absolutely fab CCTV system for anyone. This is my second system, one for my shop and one for my home. I can easily see what is going on through the ANNKE app on my phone.Very easy to install, and link to a phone, pretty self explanatory. And for the price, i don't think you can match this to be honest.
