If you have an ajustable brass nut saddle introduced with the 2015 standard Les Paul, this is the best replacement. It was discovered that the brass nut material was a design flaw. They subsequently replaced it with a titanium nut replaced by Gibson but limits the type of string gauge you can install on the guitar. Also some notches on this Graphtech nut are at an angle to have a better string tension towards the tuners as well as Graphtech nuts are self lubricating which avoids having to retune or restring the guitar frequently . Like the original brass innovation, the height of the nut is adjustable. It fitted perfectly on my Les Paul and only required a small height adjustment with the tool provided. Great Job Graphtech!

The brass nut that came with my 2015 Les Paul was fine until the strings started digging into it. This Tusq replacement was a perfect replacement. I no longer had intonation issues, strings sticking to the brass nut, or tuning stability problems. It made my Les Paul fun to play again!

Excellent product brought new life to my 2015 Gibson Les Paul HP

As most people with one of the gibson zero fret brass nuts know, they weren't made to last and were poorly designed. The nut develops grooves over time, which leads to infuriating tuning stability issues. While I was waiting for Gibson to send me a free replacement (the upgraded titanium zero fret nut), I thought I'd give this nut a try. It completely solved all of the tuning issues I was having. I eventually received the titanium nut from Gibson, but I just threw it in my guitar case and left this one on because it works flawlessly. I may drop the titanium nut in the next time I change the strings, but I might not. No reason to mess with a good thing.

The only flaw with the nut was a bit of flashing on the side from the mold preventing the nut from sitting properly. I fixed it with a quick visit from Mr Scraper and the nut sat perfectly.

Great replacement for the Brass nut. And fully adjustable ,no filing needed.

I bought a Chibson es-345. Changed absolutely everything except nut. I had a pretty good guitar. Then I installed this nut. I was amazed at how it improved quality of sound. This has the characteristics of the old ivory nuts if not superior to those. A little tough to file. But well worth it. I bought a bunch for my strats.

For my 2015 Gibson LP Less Plus and 2015 LP Special DC. I bought both in 2017. Gibson gave me a bunch of b.s. because I didn't register the LP Less Plus within 15 days of purchase! Guess I missed THAT fine print. So they wouldn't send me the titanium replacement. Purchased Graphtech instead, do not miss the titanium replacement at all. One for each guitar, and a spare. Now I'm buying a second spare, just in case, so one for each guitar. Limited market for these, so who know how long they'll make 'em. I'm very happy with the Graphtech.

Gibson SG Standard 2015. Die kommt ja „leider“ mit der Messing-„nut“ (Sattel). ABER, wie ich finde, zum Glück! Denn nur bei dieser Bauweise kann man den Sattel durch diesen neuen so gut austauschen. Der original Messingsattel ist einfach zu weich, sodass sich die Saiten leicht einschneiden und verklemmen. Alle anderen Gibsen mit normalen Sätteln haben da das Problem, dass man auf die standard-Sättel zugreifen muss. Da gibt es dann 2 Probleme: der Sattel muss aufwendig getauscht werden, und die Saiten klemmen eventuell noch immer etwas. Die 2015er hat aber eben diesen Messingsattel, der einfach nur aufgesteckt ist. Mit diesem Sattel hier habe ich jetzt eine super Gitarre, die sich nicht mehr so leicht verstimmen kann. Die Saiten laufen super durch den Sattel. Super!

Preso per sostituire il capotasto in ottone su una Gibson Les Paul 2015. Attenzione che non va bene per modelli di altri anni: le Les Paul 2015 hanno la tastiera 3 mm più larga. Per il resto il prodotto è ottimo come tutti i prodotti Graphtech.

Acheté en remplacement du sillet original en cuivre de ma LesPaul, qui avait finit par présenter des encoches sous les cordes, c'est le jour et la nuit ! Le jeu est bcp plus souoke souple et l'accordage tient bcp mieux !

No you don’t have to trim the piece. Put it in flush and click it in. Boom perfect fit. Turn the machine screws a bit at a time until the buzzing goes away. Done!
