Tusk Pilot Pannier Bags with Bottle Holders

Purchased these last minute for a long trip on the dual sport. Worked really well with my pannier racks. Durable and compact. Seems like a lot of straps and buckles to close it up but it turns out it seals everything really well. Water bottle holders turned out to be a nice feature. Purchased two camelback water bottles and they fit perfectly in the bags and they were a great asset and held very securely in these packs.

My Tusk Pilot Pannier Bags with Bottle Holders are a very nice product with loads of space. The only negatives to me are the number of straps necessary to attach the bags to the Tusk racks, making the on and off effort way more than I expected. Also, attaching the bottle holders are a challenge to attach/secure to the bags.

For the money these bags are the best on the market period! However they aren’t perfect. Mounting can be a pain depending on your mounting brackets. I used the tusk brackets. They are ment for hard bags but work well enough for the soft. Opening the bags can be technical. The bags are roll top which is fine but the straps that go over the tops have to be pulled through a lower loop every time you open and close the bag which requires undoing all the extra slack you so nearly rolled up pulling the buckle through the d ring and then repeating to close. Minor inconvenience but enough that I find myself preferring my top box 90% of the time. These are my first soft bags so that may be a normal thing I don’t know. However I would buy these time and time again they really are the best bang for the buck.

These are great. I fit a tent, chair, cot and sleeping bag in just these. The bottle holders were the toughest part to install because I have enormous hands and the Molly was pretty tight. The waterproof bags are high visibility which is nice.

Great quality, as I've come to expect from all Tusk products, at a very reasonable price.
