Deer OutDeer Repellent 1 Gallon Concentrate Makes 10 Gallons

Deer were destroying our shrubbery and flowers. Our son-in-law told us about Deer Out and gave us some. Were we ever happy! Our neighbors were so impressed and now several of them are using Deer Out. Good stuff!

We’ve been using this product for about 2 months. So far good. Since we have started using this product we have had no munching deer eating our flowers and brush. So now we can enjoy our azaleas, Camilla’s, our Maple Tree! There is an area that was not sprayed because the deer do not usually touch them. One day-boom they were eaten down to the branches. My husband has sprayed them and new growth has not been touched. So I recommend that you spray all your brush and ALL your bushes and flowers. branches. Cant say enough, lifesaver to our hard yard work. My husband uses a pump garden sprayer, the instructions are on the bottle.

I've been using Deer Out for a few years now and can say that it does genuinely work and will help to give your garden a chance against the incessant deer but you shouldn't expect this to solve the issue entirely as the deer will still taste test the plants on an all too frequent basis in hopes of catching your plants without that minty goodness applied and, if your neighborhood is densely populated with deer like mine is, that would equate to a lot of deer doing a lot of testing all over the garden which means it's still being eaten to a degree. Oddly, I've experienced a very small portion of deer that just don't seem to care about the deterring taste of Deer Out or are possibly just hungry enough to ignore it as I've had numerous plants eaten to the ground within a day or two of being liberally sprayed from all angles. It should be noted that it must be reapplied after rains and I've even had to reapply on a more frequent basis due to my sprinklers, which adds up quick especially as this product is incredibly expensive. Prior to using this product, the deer would eat my entire garden to the ground without fail. Using Deer Out has helped a lot in that now I have a full grown flowering garden but I realistically expect to have deer check most of the plants out, nibble all over the place, and completely demolish at least one of their favorite plants per month. It doesn't prevent 100% of the issue but it greatly helps. The only other issue to consider is the total price compared to how much it would cost to just simply replace plants in your garden throughout the year. I never thought that future me would keep spare hostas growing in pots so that I could rotate them in to my garden on a monthly basis but here I am. I've resorted to using protective netting over certain parts of the garden so that I don't have to constantly spray every single plant and that's worked quite well but I can't realistically cover the entire garden with netting, as is, thus the need for Deer Out.

Just got a first spraying done and not a lot of time to see results. So far so good.

Deer have eaten my hostas and 4 azaleas the last two years. azaleas have not come back. But this product used consistently keeps those critters away. Will definitely buy again.
