I bought these shears specifically for prepping Thai-style soups, where cutting through chicken bones is part of the process—and they do the job surprisingly well for a manual tool. While it still takes a bit of muscle (they’re not magic), they slice through bones cleaner than I expected.The shape and grip are ergonomic and comfortable, even during more intensive prep. The steel feels solid and durable—none of that flimsy, flexing metal you find on cheaper shears. Great for any home cook who needs something beyond basic kitchen scissors. Love them!
LOVE these shears! I can cut through steak, fish, and chicken. Easy to clean and great value for the money. I will definitely buy them again one day if/when I need them....I might buy another pair now in case they don't make them anymore in the years to come. Great kitchen tool that does more- I mean it's scissors with a kick. It has a saw type feature on the outside of the one blade but I have used that yet. They fit my hand and my brothers much larger hand. I haven't put them in a dishwasher, and I probably never would so I can't comment on how it does. Highly recommend

Cut those wings easily.
This thing cuts through chicken wing joints easily. If you eat a lot of wings, and need a tool to disjoint them. this does the job easily and with out a lot of effort.

The shears are exceptionally strong and comfortable. I occasionally have issues with my hands, but these were very easy to handle. I didn’t need any help using them and successfully spatchcocked a 12lb turkey.

Maintains sharpness
These kitchen shears are great. They're excellent for cutting up chicken, and the curve helps me position them so I can see what I'm doing. I still haven't had to sharpen them. They fit nicely in my knife block.
