I originally bought this PTZ controller because of its small footprint. I found that it was easy to connect to the cameras. I was also pleasantly surprised by its craftsmanship. It is a well-built, rugged piece of equipment. In addition, tech support responded very quickly and accurately to my questions. Finally, I was also pleased with the PTZ control function which compares identically to much higher priced units. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

Ordered AVKANS unit; Amazon sent a AVIDEONE unit. The 2 look like twin sisters. Haven't installed it yet. I have the user manuals for both. The AVKANS manual is a few pages longer but it includes everything in the AVIDEONE manual. The contents look pretty much the same. More later.

Do not buy this product. First thing it doesn’t allow special characters to be entered into the password function of the camera you’re trying to control. Most NVR’s today Require special characters for username passwords. This does not allow or have options to enter special characters. I tried to contact the company website does not come up and Email bounces back. Try to go to their website. You will get nothing.

We needed a controller for our cameras in the church and AVIDEONE was the best choice. The setup was easy to follow, and when we ran into a problem setting up one of the cameras, we reached out to tech support. They walked us thru correcting the problem and followed up the next day.
