We use this every night to warm our bed up. Warms up quickly and then I turn mine off or I get too hot.

The best heated mattress cover ever! We've had few over the years and this is the first one you cannot feel the wires at all. Heats up fast and doesn't make you sweat. We love it.

This seems to be a product category that items last a few years only, a shame as they're not cheap. This go around is #2 of this brand and features, very like one in the past. I chose this over a VERY similar model due to 1-20 heat settings. It's warm enough for wife, cool enough for me. It doesn't heat to the edge in any direction - really missed at the foot end! Head end seems warmer than foot end - we're considering installing it backwards. The cord connector is centered at feet, not obtrusive enough to be bothersome. Plenty of cord length for power and controllers. Controllers are dimly lit - not a bother at night and easy to read and use through buttons are not lit. Auto-off is useless - I didn't read the limited instructions, but it stays on too long to be useful. It should be adjustable - 2,4,8 Hrs. or something. Oh well, can't have everything. The last similar model lasted 3-4 years. Then we had one with 3 separate zones on each side (nice feature), but it lasted barely 2 years, was always weak, and had a stupid single wireless controller for two sides (clumsy, thoughtless design). I wandered a bit in this review in the spirit of trying to be complete.

Once you turn it on the led is back lit in blue easy to see the number settings and timer then the led goes off. It would be nice if a small light would stay on to let you know it was working during the night but not a deal breaker…

I had a Sunbeam heated mattress pad way back in the late 80s. I've had a few since then, but for 1 reason or other the other's were not as that 1. I finally bought this ALL COTTON mattress pad. Love, love, love this mattress pad! It replaces the one I've had for 25 years, that finally gave up heating on one side and had become lumpy, besides. The very best thing about it is the pre-heat, that makes bedtime a deliciously cozy experience instead of an icy-cold endurance challenge. The pad is fluffy enough to soothe weary bones, and is held in place by the stretchy contour edging. I could wish that the controls had longer wires, or even something that attached them to the bedside tables so they didn't slide off so easily, but that's minor. Nobody in the northern hemisphere should be without a heated mattress pad!

I love the heat and the controls are nice. My gripe is this lasted almost 2 years before it bit the dust. This is the second Sunbeam Premium heated mattress pad. The first died 2 years after we received it as a gift from one of our children. This pad had only been washed a couple of times and now all I see is the display on the controllers flashing F2....F2....F2. I refuse to spend another $145 for less than 2 years of warm comfort. Sunbeam, step up the quality control!

This is the 2nd time I bought this particular heated cover. It is only used for 5 months out of a year in our winter weather. Again this year I got it ready and put it on the bed and no heat. While it comes on and seems like it will heat , after several hours nothing.And it had not been washed or the electrical crimped on the bed, I will never buy a sunbeam product again.There should be better warranty when purchasing a product as this.

Quality product but disappointed that it does not have a programable on off option to preheat the bed. You must physically turn it on, on a daily basis.

This product worked well but only for one season. It is not heating at all. The display seems to be working but it doesn’t heat.
