UPF 50+ Foldable Baseball Cap Sun Protection Quick Dry Portable Folding Hats for Men or Women

I have a fairly small head, probably about 21" or 21.25". This hat was too big for me. Also, the long visor looks pretty weird to most people (me included). Finally, it's hard to tell from the staged photos (because everything is perfectly rounded in the photos), but the visor folds into thirds with intense creases that are hard to get rid of. It looks pretty bad. I had much better luck with a similar hat, "FITKICKS Folding Cap..." The Fitkicks is nearly identical in material and design, but it was a bit smaller, and for whatever reason, the visor unfolded into a standard rounded visor more easily and cleanly.

A foldable hat is great, and I love that this hat is all black with no branding. But I don't wear this hat because of quality issues.Here are some advantages of this hat:- It looks like a normal hat, for the most part.- No branding, just a subtle embroidered "UPF 50+" on the side.- Folds up to fit in my pockets- Extra long bill keeps the sun out of my eyes- Dries very quickly after it rains- This will resist rain, but standing water will soak throughThere are some downsides:- The adjustable headband is poorly designed. There's a slit to tuck in the band so it doesn't flop around. But the band is too short, so the band untucks very easily. I also had to fix the slit when I first go the hat for this to work at all.- The folding seams in the bill don't quite line up. This causes the hat to look a bit crooked.- The longer bill is noticeable, so this doesn't quite look like a normal hat. It also blocks more of your field of view for things like stop lights.Instead of this hat, I use  FITKICKS Folding Cap w/UPF 50+ Sun Protection, Quick Dry, Breathable, Baseball Cap Style - Black . It addresses all the problems this hat has. The only downside to Fitkicks is that it has a small amount of branding.I recommend Fitkits, but if the branding bugs you, then this is a decent alternative.

These hats are lightweight, supposedly spf protection, will dry fast. That said, the blue one much larger than the pink one and I think the front of the caps a bit too long. Hard to walk and see at the same time. Won’t buy again. But you might like them, if you like a really long front. Foldable. Hat has three creases that fold. Nice colors. Just not that happy with them. Would have returned, but got lazy.

WHEN IT CAME IN THE MAIL & I OPENED IT... LOOKED AT IT... SHOWED IT TO MY WIFE... SHE SAID: "THAT'S A HAT!" I SAID "YEAH" THEN I UNFOLDED IT & PUT IT ON -- SHE (& I TOO) WERE BOTH AMAZED AT HOW WELL IT FIT & HOW SMALL IT FOLDED UP -- FITS IN BACK PANT POCKET & FEELS BETTER THAN MY HANDERCHIEF. WISH I HAD IT LONG BEFORE NOW, BUT AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT TAKING IT ON OUR CRUISE TO ALASKA!

I purchased this hat to protect my forehead from UVB and UVA exposure and it failed. I have a UVA- B meter and tested it and it offered less than 25 % protection compared to a competitors. I returned it for Auoon brand hat which tested well.

The brim is not anti-glare, but is made of the same color and material as the rest of the cap. The sweat band is ineffective and not made of terry-cloth or something like it. However, my wife and I each got one of these and we LIKE THEM. The colors are good and from a great selection. They fold up very compactly and are very lightweight-truly pocket size for a full size hat. It seems like they will hold up well, and we wanted the long brim. I'm especially glad that the label says "machine wash cold normal". That's good for any hat, and especially one that gets sweaty like these particularly do.The best use of these caps is for wear on a sunny day that's not too hot and you're not doing much physical activity.

And it has a longer bill than any of my manyregular ball caps. I think I'll like that feature.It's sized for Lg and XL heads though.I had to really press on that quick-release buttonand moving the elastic strap to the very end to geta decent fit on my medium sized 7-1/4" headtook some patience, but I got there.I think I'll like this hat and get some use out of it.Nice color choices; I may even buy another.A good value for $12 unless you have a small head.

I purchased this cap for its longer bill to use while playing tennis I have a 23.5" head circumference and the hat does not fit well on top. It sits too high on my head and the elastic band is not strong enough to secure the cap. Also, due to longer bill which I wanted for sun shading, the bill definitely catches "air" at times and the cap will fly off.If you want to use it as a regular non-sport cap, which I have done, no problem. Just be aware that on windy days, the longer bill may catch "air" and lift it off your head. If the cap "sat" deeper onto my head, this type of fit would secure it better.

I never expected to be blown off by a retailer on Amazon!Especially when that vendor deliberately displays misleading photos.Amazon has an excellent return policy but there would be far fewer returns if retailers presented honest information and images.These hats have two folds down the bill and the bill is collapsable. This is strange in a baseball cap. The vender said show me the images – then ignored me twice when I twice to follow up. The why treat hats may work for many but why not keep your word. Brand integrity matters.

Love the colour, love how light it is, love that I can easily fold it and stick it in my pocket or bag.

Light with long brim that folds flat. Easy to shove in a suitcase or pocket. Love it.
