My exhaust fan has been squealing like a bad fan belt for the past few years. I limped it through -40 a couple weeks ago and finally installed this new exhaust fan this morning. Super easy to install, like everything else, in my Heatilator ps50. Now it runs like a champ. Like it was new. So glad I ordered this and did it myself. I honestly replaced everything except the control board this morning and it only took maybe an hour. Mostly because I had never worked on one before. Super easy and terrific product.

Not as quiet as it could be

Unit is louder than original. Mounting plate has keyholes in wrong place for CB1200 FS making installation more difficult, it can still be mounted using the alternative holes. This means you cannot turn lock it in place which would have been nice considering there is a gasket involved.

Local dealer tried to sell me one for over 300 dollars, ordered this for a fraction of the cost and it worked great.
