I’ve honestly never written a review on Amazon before — this is my first time. But I feel like people who come here are probably dealing with the same awkward situation, so I wanted to share my real experience. I’ve had hemorrhoids since after giving birth. I even had surgery before, but it came back about two years later and have been bothering me for over 10 years. I’ve tried so many different medications and nothing really solved the problem. Two days ago, I had a really bad flare-up. My digestion isn’t great to begin with, so I hadn’t been able to go to the bathroom for a few days. When the hemorrhoids hit, it became even worse — I felt bloated, heavy, uncomfortable, and honestly just miserable. It affected my mood and my work a lot. I never believed oral supplements could help with something like this. In my mind, it’s an external issue, so how could something you take by mouth fix it? But this time I was really desperate, so I searched on Amazon. I saw this was made in the USA and had next-day Prime delivery, so I decided to give it a try with a little bit of hope. It arrived this afternoon, and I immediately took 3 capsules. And I’m not even exaggerating — within 2 hours, I felt a difference. I was finally able to go to the bathroom slowly, little by little. By about 3 hours after taking it, the problem that had been bothering me for 5 days was basically gone. The bleeding stopped quickly, and the swelling started going down too. Honestly, this feels like a lifesaver. I’m so glad I found it. I highly recommend this to anyone going through the same thing. This is not fake and not exaggerated — it really worked for me.

Look, this is embarrassing. Nobody wants to talk about hemorrhoids. I get them, though, and every once in awhile, they'll flare up and be quite painful. That's where this stuff comes in. I have now bought this three different times and I'm sure I'll buy it again. Within a day of taking this, they stop hurting, every single time. Then, over the course of the bottle, they shrink and eventually fade. It's not a permanent solution, obviously, but it's a lifesaver when you're dealing with a flare up. The price is a little much but tolerable because I just buy these instead of all the creams and wipes and suppositories. My only wish would be for maybe smaller capsules or something because these are GROSS and they're so big that there's not a great way to swallow the whole dose without them leaving the taste of the coating in your mouth. I put my drink in my mouth (I try not to use water because that does not at all mask the taste), and then I plug my nose, pop these in my mouth, swallow, take another drink, and then finally let go of my nose. The taste is not really unique to these -anybody who has taken a vitamin supplement will be familiar with it, so it's not unexpected, just strong since 1 dose is 3 pills.

This is wild! Within 45 minutes of taking the first pill I had no pain for the first time in a week. Went great for most of the day. Pain started coming back that night. Now bad pain has been intermittent all day and night. Still trying other things and still taking these pills in hopes that the feeling from the first dose will return or that it will help in the long run? Anyone else?

This product was received on the September 19th. On that day, I was in *pain* and very miserable. Prior to that day, I had also been in pain and very miserable. And it looked like it was just going to get worse and worse until I was forced to go to Urgent Care or something. Anyway, I received the product on September 19th. Today, September 27th, I feel better than ever. Hemi isn't completely gone, but the pain, the bleeding, and general discomfort is an order of magnitude less than it was when I started. 5/5, would recommend. December 22 Update: Had yet another flare up that gave me some of the worst sustained pain I've ever felt in my life for 2 straight weeks. Like, I was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen every night just to sleep comfortably. HemRid Max did it *again*! I felt the effects within 2 days of taking it, but within a week my general discomfort is 2-3 orders of magnitude less. I'm sitting comfortably on my office chair. 6/5, will continue recommending.

I buy A LOT from Amazon, and rarely leave reviews, but this has been the exception. I have worked in an office the past couple of years and have had issues with hemorrhoids, because of all the sitting. For the past 4 months, I have had the worst hemorrhoids I've ever had in my life, and was living on ibuprofen about twice per day because of the pain. I have tried everything from creams, pills, wipes and pills. I purchased this bottle about 2 weeks ago and was only taking 2ea. / day because I wanted to see if they did anything. After the first few days I started feeling relief, but they were still full size and still there. I started taking 3ea. / day as directed about 4 days ago, and they have shrunk considerably and there is barely ANY pain or discomfort now. I feel like a few more days and they should be completely gone. I would definetly recommend this product for anyone who can't seem to get rid of hemorrhoids by using other products. The ONLY downfall I have found to this product is the taste, because its basically a dirt in a capsul, and you taste it. I just take them with juice rather than water. Hope this helps!

TL;DR These did not work for my internal hemorrhoids. But I still like the idea. I have had hemorrhoids for most of my life, internal and external. I have been trying remedies since the 1990s and have yet to find the miracle medicine. Unfortunately I did have to have a hemorrhoidectomy 15 years ago, which I do not recommend unless you have to do it. I have been mostly symptom free since the surgery, until a month ago when a flare up of internal hemorrhoids started. I tried this stuff and will keep trying to find remedies out there. It is possible HemRid kept my internal swelling from getting worse, I don't know. I can only say they did not improve my situation. I am so glad it has helped others. On to the next attempt, for me.
