This product is great and lower cost than similar ones from other brands. I find it to rehydrate fine with hot water. No issues at all. My dog loves it!

Jack did not like it, too healthy I guess. He likes all the other products. The absorption of water does not happen, so it is granny and particles are hard even when I add hot water.

Great quality ingredients! My dog is still getting used to it but I think she’s just not used to change. Still, she’s a chihuahua and quite picky, but will finish her bowl when mixed a little with her old food.

My dog has very bad food allergies and this mixed with rabbit has stabled out all of his blood/liver tests! We have tried just about every other high end food on the market and this is the only one that has worked this well. I wish it came in the larger size!

I have two dogs, neither of which were remotely interested in eating this. Unfortunately, the one who finally ate a small amount at two meals ended up at the vet with very bad GI issues. They both refused to eat it after the 2 nd day but the one who ate the most had nausea, vomiting, regurgitation, terrible gas and bloody stool. This has been going on for 3 days. He hasn't eaten for two days. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the food per se but if you have a dog with sensitive gut be very careful with this food. My best guess is the pinto beans have caused him all this distress and if you notice, pinto beans are the first ingredient. Even if it doesn't cause the amount of distress it's caused my poor pup (and my wallet at the vet) I don't think pinto beans are the best type of bean for dogs to consume. Just use caution and maybe start with a very small amount when you first start feeding. Just to make sure it agrees with your dog.

Within min of eating both dogs were gagging and coughing and both threw up. It's been three hours since I fed them and they are both still gagging and coughing. Cannot return this item either. BEWARE!!I have been feeding Honest Kitchen with zero issues and will return to that.
