Product seems to be watered down.
I bought this online because I couldn’t find it at the pet store. I noticed that it was too thin to squirt into my hands because it dripped through my fingers. The original one didn’t do that. I was recently able to buy it a from pet store and I compared the two. This has definitely been watered down.

Great for dogs with sensitive skin! Wish they had a larger bottle.
I ordered this shampoo for my Great Pyrenees after one of my fellow Great Pyrenees volunteers had recommended it. I am definitely more pleased than not with this product and will quite possibly buy this again. My Great Pyrenees has white fur (standard for the breed) and although I can’t honestly say that her fur is whiter and brighter yet after using this product, I can say that it has not irritated her already sensitive skin so that is a huge plus! In fact, it seems to have actually helped her sensitive skin. We rescued her 5 years ago and she has had sensitive skin off and on for the entire time. She gets professionally groomed every 5 weeks and the groomer has always used an oatmeal shampoo that is geared for dogs with sensitive skin. We have also had to change her dog food a few times over the years until we found a good one for her. This summer my dog went to the groomer and shortly after was itching and biting all over her back and her legs. She was getting hot spots and nothing we did was helping. We finally got over that issue and all seemed to be good with her. We took her back to the groomer and told her what had happened and verified that she was using the oatmeal shampoo. She confirmed that she was. As soon as we brought her back home she was already itching and biting all over again. It was immediate so I knew I had to do something before her next grooming visit. No clue if the oatmeal shampoo that was used before had been reformulated or what but something was definitely not working for my dog.So I figured I had nothing to lose with this shampoo, especially after a fellow Pyrenees volunteer recommended it. I do think it is pricey for how small the bottle is. Heck, I’m not sure if I pay this much for my own shampoo! Plus, my bottle arrived with the top broken and almost half of the product spilled all over the inside of the box. I had planned to return it as defective but never got around to it because I wanted to hurry and try it on my dog in the hopes that it would help her. That Amazon box did smell amazing before it was even opened though :)My groomer has used this 3 times on my Pyrenees and there hasn’t been any issues with her fur since! You should be aware that this shampoo is actually a dark blue color, not a light color! It will get blue all over everything if you are not careful. The scent is pleasant! This shampoo comes in a recyclable metal bottle according to the product’s website. I took a picture of the bottom of the bottle for reference.I debated on getting this formula or the skin-soothing formula but figured I would try this one first so that I could hopefully get double results from this purchase. I am glad I went with this formula even though I can’t yet tell a difference with the “brighter” white fur. Hopefully with continued use I will be able to tell more of a difference at which time I will edit my review. I am definitely more pleased than not with this product.

Great doggy shampoo!
Here is a picture of our Boo after being washed with this wonderful shampoo and trimmed by our groomer, Veronica. Boo is very sensitive to heavily fragranced products and this shampoo doesn't bother him at all. The scent is very light and smells heavenly. It leaves him soft and silky smooth. The groomer also uses this shampoo while grooming other dogs and loves it too!

Lucy Purple Rain is THE BEST!! Will NEVER Change!!
Absolutely LOVE Lucy’s pet products, especially the Purple Rain scent. I have been using this shampoo on my pups for 5 years and wouldn’t change it for anything else! My lab has dry skin and this shampoo really helps with the flakiness and leaves my pup smiling and smelling AMAZING!!!I also suggest getting the leave in shampoo/ perfume spray to keep your pup smelling yummy until her/his next bath. I always get compliments on how good my dog smells :-)

Good for whiting
The only product that is good for a groomers skin. Other whiting shampoo makes my hands dry out quick. Plus a little girl loves her dog to smell like blueberries. Sweet. Really good at whiting. I use on my Westies, Bichons, and Maltese I groom. Plus I believe they donate money to a shelter ( not sure on that). It says they donate on their site.

Excellent shampoo for my dog!!
Lucy shampoo is a little pricy but it is worth it!Also, love the bottle it comes in with a pump on top.The first bottle delivered was damaged due to packing in a big soft bag. I was taken care of promptly. Second shipment came the same way. Just glad it made it

Finally, a dog shampoo I enjoy smelling!
I’ve never smelled a dog shampoo that I like. I even dread taking my dogs to the groomer cause I know they’ll smell super perfumed for days. This shampoo changed all that! We bought a new puppy last fall and after bringing her home I texted the breeder a few days later to find out what shampoo she had used because our pup smelled SO GOOD! (And, really, how many puppies actually smell good?!) We’ve been using Lucy’s since and I’ll never go back. Totally worth the price.

Stinks
This stuff stinks! I love this brand but this scent is gross. While bathing my dog he never smelt clean. Even after he just smelt funky and the scent was nasty. I wouldn’t recommend this scent but the brand is good.
