Fun idea, but not super easy
My rating on these will probably vary from 3-4 stars depending on how quickly after completion I rate them. It has been a little while since we actually put these together, so I am going with 4 stars. I love the idea of putting together your own toy. This is a great concept, but it could use a little perfecting. I was needed for a lot of help with these critters, and quite honestly, parts weren't even too easy for me. We (kids ages 5-9 plus me) were very excited to put these together. The instructions were slightly lacking, so that didn't get us started on a good foot. It does offer step by step instructions through words and pictures, which was nice, but one made it sound like we needed to attach the face, arm and ear pieces before the fur and the other set of instructions seemed to indicate the opposite. I tried it a little bit both ways, and you definitely want to do the face and arms first. However, those are hard to get on and it doesn't really tell you how far you are supposed to put them into the holes. The face actually ends up sticking out somewhat, so it looks like you should push it in further. I found that on a couple of the bodies I could squeeze them while pressing the face piece in and that worked a bit better. The really tricky part about the face is that it actually somewhat covers some of the holes for the fur pieces. When you are ready to add those pieces in, you have to go under the face and press them in, which is tricky. If you put these pieces in before the face, though, they will pop out as you add the face. If you want to follow the instructions for the fur, each color has a certain hole that you need to find to put it into. These holes are labeled with tiny numbers that are the same color as the body. so I couldn't see them at all! Luckily the young eyes came in handy here and they could tell me what spots we were aiming for. You could easily ignore the instructions here though, and just put the colors wherever you want them. Some of these pieces are very easy to put in; some not so much. The 9 year old was almost able to do all of these by herself, but the other 2 needed quite a bit of help. Once you get towards the end of your project it becomes even trickier because you have to find a perfect way to hold it well enough to push a piece in without knocking others out. Fluffing out the fur at the very end was easy and fun though! These did turn out very cute and they were quite an experience! They make a good display item, but not something you want to really play with, because nobody wants to keep knocking those pieces out of place! If your kids are older and/or you are prepared to give a good amount of assistance, these are kind of fun (I say today, but maybe not that day). If nothing else, these teach a little patience and persistence! I think I would like it more if the face area was pre-assembled because that was the most frustrating spot with pieces that kept popping out. Overall though, I think this is a fun concept and I hope the execution gets a little more perfected in the coming years.

Gets very frustrating
This is a really cute idea and my daughter was excited to “make her own pet stuffy”. Unfortunately, the pieces are somewhat difficult to get in the holes (mom and dad ended up having to push the pieces in with a lot of strength) and the pieces for the arms & ears do NOT stay on at all! One tiny touch and they fall off. A lot of the hair pieces fall off easily too. So basically this toy doesn’t get played with bc the pieces will all fall off and I’ll have a frustrated, annoyed 5 year old lol. It sits on my daughter’s shelf with the knick-knacks and that’s just 1 out of the 3! I’m not ready to see if the other 2 are just as frustrating, yet! 😂

Cute but not stuffed animals..
This is a VERY cute idea! The fact that you get to design the coloring and choose how it is going to look it is probably the biggest pull towards this product. The body of the "stuffed animal" is a hard plastic with holes inside where you add whatever color hair plug you choose. My girls had fun putting one of them together, but it isn't something that they can sleep with or cuddle, so it's almost just a decoration that you get to make that happens to be fuzzy and customizable. Cute for older kids, not really logical for kids under 10 though.

Not as fun as they looked
I got these for my daughters. I thought they would have fun putting them together but they were not as fun as they looked. It was very difficult to push the various pieces into the holes. There are also little numbers by the holes that indicated what color of fur should be inserted. My girls found the numbers were small a difficult to read and it was almost impossible for my aging eyes to read them. Another problem was that the toys didn't stay together very well. These are definitely put together and just look not play with toys. Despite the problems with this toy my kids still said they would give it a 3 star rating and they did like putting them together even though it was a little frustrating.

Unique and Fun
I got these for my daughter to put together during Christmas and Thanksgiving break. So far she has only done the owl ( I thought it was the least cute and wanted to save the cuter ones for later). It has a sort of map, as seen above, for each one to show what colors coordinate with what numbers. My daughter enjoys crafts and puzzles and I like her to not be glued to a screen during the whole break. The one she did kept her busy for 20+ minutes. It was easy for her to put together, as she is 10, but she had fun. She said she enjoyed putting it together and wants to start the other 2. All-in-all, it is a unique and cute project, and I would recommend.
