This is compatible with Maytag QuietSeries 100. Our dishwasher doesn't have a model # anywhere on the door or in the operation manual, but this was it. It's a perfect fit except for the color (our dishwasher is white).When you install, please double check which side faces out before connecting to the wires. We did it the wrong way, and it was kind of hard to pull the metal parts off the wires.It should only take 10-15 minutes to install. The door of our dishwasher now works very smoothly.Installed very quickly.

Good price, arrived quickly, and was very easy to install (less than 15 minutes). It took me longer to determine which breaker controlled the dishwasher.NOTE: The manufacturer (Whirlpool) discontinued making the part in white & biscuit. It is ONLY available in BLACK; this is not the seller's fault. My dishwasher is white and the black handle doesn't really stick out like I thought it would. It's barely noticeable when the dishwasher is not in use (door is unlatched) and your standing (looking down). It really only stands out when the door is latched while in use (see photos of both latched & unlatched taken at eye level, not standing).4 stars for durability since it was just replaced & it is unknown at this point. The original one lasted 13 years so I'm keeping the faith this one will as well.

It doesn't look as horrible as I thought it would. One thing I forgot about is.. You can't really see the handle at all when the door isn't latched closed, it sort of retracts into the door. Most of the time I have the door unlatched, so I never even notice the black handle.When I do have the door latched closed to run the dishwasher, it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Dare I say, I kinda like it.edit: 7/16/23Today I noticed that the sanitize, heated dry, tough scrub, and high temp wash buttons don't work. Maybe it's just a coincidence. I know they're two completely separate components, but still just weird timing. This is my first time trying to use them since installing the handle.

The new part was easy to install and works like new.

I had previously purchased this product 8 years ago and installed it very easily in my Maytag Quiet Series 300 model MDBH955AWB dishwasher. The dishwasher door opens many times per day as we are constantly putting things in. We end up filling it about every third day. When the latch failed again, I didn't remember when I replaced and felt it had not lasted very long. However, when I checked my order history, I realized it had lasted 8 years. I ordered it again and it took me less than 15 minutes to install the new one. It looks exactly as the one that I replaced. I'm looking forward to another 8 years of quiet service.

First of all, this was used to replace the door latch assembly on our Maytag PDBL390AWB dishwasher. At first we were just guessing, trying to look at the pictures, but then I found the model number on the sticker inside the door frame. My hubby has always been our Mr. Fix-It, and I rarely do more than change lightbulbs. But when the dishwasher is out of order and hubby is out of town, a girl will do what a girl has to do! Okay so he did get the project started before he had to go - he took the door apart and helped me figure out which part to order to replace our broken door latch. But he had to work out of town for a few days, so when the latch came in the mail (thankfully I only had to wait two days with Prime!) I was more than ready to have my dishwasher working again. So I just watched a couple videos on YouTube and hubby told me where the right tools were, and I had no trouble replacing the latch assembly and putting it all back together. My dishwasher was back to normal and has been doing great since then, and that was on 6-14-16.

This is a direct replacement for my Jenn Air dishwasher latch that broke. Being a Jenn Air it is a little older than most dishwashers, but it cleans/sanitizes better than any previous dishwasher I ever bought. The handle on it was acting up and finally broke. After a little research and google time, this part was the same as what was in my dishwasher, but looked easy enough to do myself. It arrived quickly and I was able to install it with only a T20 torx screwdriver and a flat blade screw driver. Easy in, easy out, back up and running in less than about 10 minutes. I will buy this again if needed.

Although the bag says made in US but the part says made in Mexico. Installed, closed the door, and started the dishwasher. Ran a cycle, then opened the door. Works perfect.

The part worked fine on this 10 year old dishwasher, perfect fit. Had to leave the black handle on the replacement part as the white handle snapped when i tried to remove it from the old part, but the new part works fine. Remember to throw the breaker for the DW, the two connectors on the handle are the 120V shut off (no matter how careful i am some part of me always manages to touch a live connection)

Handle on my old part was broken at the pin. This one was so easy to install. The hardest part was removing the screws around the dishwasher door. Turn off power supply to dishwasher. Remove screws along inside of dishwasher door insert. Pull plastic door insert up (careful, there are wires attached to the switch). Unplug 2 sets of wires and remove old part. Install in opposite order. Turn power back on and checked to make sure the new part activates the dishwasher cycle. Everything works just fine.

Perfect fit for our Maytag dishwasher MDB7601AWS. The handle had broken. Ordered this piece via Prime and was very easy to install. 8 minutes flat. Genuine part and it fits exactly.

The plastic handle broke after13 years. To buy it local was $80 plus, so I checked online and found this Also Uribe showed a video of how to replace it in about 2 mins and 45 secs. Took me longer as I did not have an electric screw driver. Very happy with product
