The price is too good about the design of this computer (Well
This is my first day with this computer. The price is too good about the design of this computer (Well, my last laptop was a Inspiron 5421).Some things that I noticed when I opened it was charging it during 3 hours to get the best performance of it. If you try to turn it on for the first time without plug the charger, it won't turn it. So, READ the instructions.Cool features: USB 3.1 type C, 2 USB 3.0 type A, micro HDMI (Disclaimer: It doesn't came with adapter), and card reader. The touchpad is pretty good. The storage is a m2 SSD. So has the best performance of it. Keyboard is good enough, harder than the Dell keyboard, but I can live with that. Should be backlit keyboard, but, come on, is a $550~ laptop. The touchpad is little dissapointing about the accuracy, but maybe is the habit.About the battery: Some people said it won't last too much and has a huge drain battery... Here is my theory: When I started using the laptop with the installed version of Windows the performance was good, so; no drain at all. When I finished getting the latest version I noticed the laptop wasn't charging at all. I unplugged it and start looking at the battery performance, seeing that it was draining kinda fast, I rebooted and then shutted down the computer. Plugged the charger again and it started charging as normal. Maybe the drain is caused by the latest version of Windows (It happened on my Inspiron, but I was thinking it was ocurring due the age of it, but I seems is from Windows that issue).Any future update I'll post here or any doubt you can contact me :)EDIT (12/29/2017)For any search about the drivers at Asus Support, the model is UX360CAK (This is because the components are newer).

and already I'm amazed at how fast it is
Just opened this yesterday, and already I'm amazed at how fast it is, how quiet it is (going from a regular HDD to a SSD is incredible; no fan noise, some heat but not bad), and how thin it is. I had an HP Pavilion that I bought in 2012, and this ASUS is definitely an upgrade. The screen in beautiful. It starts up very quickly. Only complaints are the keyboard is not backlit (not a big deal but would have been cool), and the hard drive size (256 GB) seems small right now. Other than that, this ASUS is fantastic. Would consider buying another one.

Impressed and at a great price
I was a little concerned about getting a lower-mid range processor, but with the SSD drive it is actually zipper that my i5 with a standard 5,400k drive. Very impressed. Now I can just remember it has a touch screen instead of always having to use the mouse :)

Hinge Problem
Writing on behalf of my friend, looks like out of nowhere the hinge broke, previously I had a similar issue. This is the second time on a different laptop it has happened to and although nothing else is wrong with it, it does make it pretty useless unless you find another part. Also it happens right when the warranty expires! Everything else works as expected, thus the 3 stars.
