Ultrasonic Atomizer Music Humidifier Atomization Disc 5V Plate Circuit Board micro usb Module Mist Maker Music Atomizer

I bought this just to play with. and maybe add to the robotic rovers I design for fun. It works well and creates a considerable amount of mist. The picture shows it sitting on a wet sponge but it may not work that way.Think of the foam piece as a water "wick" that connects the disc to a water source. One end of the foam needs to be in contact with water or a wet sponge, and the other with the backside of the disc. (The red wire should be on top). The foam can be cut to what ever length you need.This was a couple of dollars cheaper than a similar device and it came with music and a speaker. I don't care about the music and will use the speaker in another project.

Product did not include the cotton filter shown, though the description doesn't seem to say it would be included.Ceramic disk for atomizer was cracked and the wires to the atomizer were cut rather than having a plug.

Surprisingly nice music (not what I ordered it for) and atomization (what I needed). However, the board got hot almost immediately, and failed after about 10 minutes use. Fine if you want to tinker, but don't buy it to build an Arduino-controlled humidity monitored terrarium.
