Excellent camera and operation!
I bought this camera to upgrade from another brand that still served me well. My primary reason for upgrading was to get a larger screen and automatic continuous recording, without breaking the bank. So far, it has not disappointed on any level. The camera resolution is so great that it impressed me the first time it powered up. Even before I leave the garage, it's so clear you'd think I was outside on a sunny day. The viewing angle of the lens is great, showing a panorama across the front and left/right angles across the front.Thankfully, I have not had to call upon the G-sensor, but it's nice to know it's there, if needed.Installation can be via sticky mounts or suction cup. The camera mount portion fits so tightly into the sticky mount that unmounting will be a struggle. I prefer the suction cup, because it makes it easier to mount/unmount the camera, should you need to do so. To be sure you get proper suction, ensure you mount to a clean area, and you put pressure on the mount before clicking the latch into place.Contrary to some reviews, it does not come with a microSD card, possibly it did sometime previously. Anyway, I installed a 128GB SanDisk Extreme PLUS, and it was immediately accepted. Between that disk size and the continuous operation, disk space while traveling should not be a problem. This camera is the essence of plug and play. Insert a microSD card, mount it on the windshield, and plug it in. You are all set to go.

Solid Dash Cam w/ Good Features.
I've been using it for a few days now with the suction cup. The camera works great, the controls are pretty intuitive if you take the time to read the manual and understand all the settings. But the "plug and play" part is absolutely true. Just plug it in, insert the SD card and it starts recording. The suction cup works ok, but is a little large to go behind my mirror. But that just comes with the territory of a mechanical suction cup. I plan to and would recommend using the provided adhesive mounts once you figure out the exact location. The only minor software/navigation complaint I have is when reviewing the video files on the camera, it starts at the latest video and goes backwards (or upwards on the screen). But when I try to go down (maybe I went past the video I want to watch), it switches modes (this particular button acts as a down arrow and a mode switcher), so there is only one direction you could go. Also a fast forward in the video player would be handy. But I understand you should only review video on the camera in a pinch. It's so easy to just pop it into your computer for a better review experience.Overall, a good camera with great features for the price point. I've reviewed the video on my TV and it looks great.

Good, inexpensive dash cam
The media could not be loaded. I've only been using the camera for a few weeks, so this won't be an in depth review. So far, so good, but my one gripe is the manual typeface is too small and it should also be a little more explanative. What are pros or cons of adjusting the settings? I've left everything at the defaut. Also, the mounting system could be better. When not using the car, I don't want to leave the camera attached to the windscreen in plain view, so I remove it. It's a real hassle and I'm afraid that something will break. In contrast, my radar detector pops on and off with ease. The camera is a real chore to both remove and attach. The SD card slot is on the bottom, facing down. If not inserted properly, the tiny thing could fall out and you'd be none the wiser. The card is also difficult to remove as the fit is so snug. Pressing in to release the catch does nothing. I have to use my fingernail to dig in and pull. I've never owned any other brands before, so can't compare very well to others, but once attached, it seems to do its job well. Image quality is good.

The WheelWitness HD PRO Mark II Isn't Worth The Money
I have 3 of the previous model 1 of them has a defective battery and will not hold a charge. I purchased these for each of our vehicles. When the defective one stopped holding a charge, I thought I would get this new version with the capacitor. It was ok the first few months, but then it stopped keeping the settings you put in: date, location, video length and single camera setting. The tech support/customer service is useless, I sent an email about the problem and was informed to charge the camera to keep the settings, that advice doesn’t work. In the past few months, it has stopped loop recording and fills up the SD card, so I have to format the SD card every couple of weeks to get the camera to record. It shuts off randomly while driving and if this new model gets too hot, it will not work until it cools off, along with this problem comes the screen for movie recovery. This is not what you want happening in an emergency situation. The issues with both models always happen to me outside of the return window. The clips for the suction mounting used on both models all break in the middle making the clip unusable and camera unmountable. Don’t try to get the free offers inside the box, you will be wasting your time, because you will not see them. I would not buy or recommend purchasing the WheelWitness Dashcams to any needing one now.
