Q: Does the module draw current when in the open state? If so, how much current is drawn.

I haven't measured it's current draw when the relay is off, but I could almost bet this only takes a few milliamps. That 8-pin controller chip is not going to draw much energy. The biggest current draw is when the relay coil is turned on - probably 80 or 100 mA for the coil.

Q: Will this switch reset if the dc power is removed?

Yes they revert to default when power is removed

Q: Is this limited to a 30v dc application or can i use this to switch my 12v dc devices? if so, what is the amp rating for a 12v dc device? thanks!
