16inch Manual Bud Trimmer - Visual Cutting Leaf Trimmer with Outlet Port for Hydroponic Trim Twisted Spin Cut Plant Bud Leaf and Flower

I'm a one person operation home grower. I used this trimming machine to pre-trim my state legal four plant hydroponic recirculating deep water culture screen of green garden. This machine is far better than the cheaper salad bowl trimmers I have used before in my lifetime. This machine is quite well built. The machine is sturdy. The parts and mechanisms are robust. It works pretty dang well. My only regret is not getting the one with the tilting stand bracket. That would have been a nice feature to have had. Without that tilt feature, I just propped the back of the machine on some books and ran it at a slight tilt. This makes discharging the material out the side door much easier. For anyone who knows the joy of hand trimming a grip of buds, this machine (or one of the other machines in this lineup) will be money well spent. This machine does a great job of pre-trimming for a dry trimmer finale. This machine does an acceptable, but not amazing job if it's all that you are using to trim with. Your final product will need a little bit of personal attention for all buds to be 100%.

I use this for the popcorn I don't trim by hand. Even with proper pruning there's always a little bit of popcorn. It does an amazing job. There is a tiny learning curve but the results are really good. It does about 95% if you buck and prep correctly and have the blade set right. There are a few tricks to getting the results you want. A tiny bit of terps and rosin are lost in the process but it's beyond acceptable for the time saved. I use hygrohub electric scissors on the rest of the plant. I mist the machine with a tiny bit of water before loading buds every couple fills, this helps a lot with not having rosin stick to the machine but you don't want to get the buds wet. Just a light mist in the empty machine every so often. Great for saving time and still having good bud. You get out what you put in. I almost didn't buy this based on some of the reviews. No telling what they were putting in it though. If you are busy and trim time is something you dread when it arrives this and the hygrohub scissors available here on Amazon also are life savers. I also enjoy the 420 brand 5 gallon bucket lid style bucker. Almost forgot to mention I use this machine to wet trim but the couple times I cleaned up some dry it did great for me. Everyone you know that grows will want you to bring it over after they see how good it performs and you'll have to say sorry buy your own lol. If it holds up thru normal use I'm happy. It was nice they included two extra blades but they are very dangerous to handle. Please wear cut proof gloves when adjusting the blade or cleaning/changing it. It's a 16 inch double ended razor sharp slicer.

I grew my first marijuana plants this year. It was a success. However, when it came to trimming buds, after 3 hours, I kinda had my fill, and there was at least 5x more buds to trim.So, I sprung for this machine. It was priced well and seemed to have decent reviews.Fast forward to today when I got it set up and started with a small amount of buds. Hmmm, not bad.-Perhaps not as tidy as hand trimming, but definitely did the job. Just follow the manual, and try not to process too much at one time. You'll find out how many cranks it takes to get the buds trimmed after a few batches.I have only run a small amount through it, but it definitely seems to be built well, so I expect it to be with me for a while. Just clean it out with a towel moistened with alcohol-esp. the plexiglass top, so it doesn't scratch- and you'll be good for the next batch.

I bought this specifically for my weed harvest ....doesnt take many spins until the flowers are looking perfectly trimmed...yes...you will have to go through them and snip some but the sheer volume of leaves removed is amazing..caught in the silicone mat that holds the machine FIRMLY down...its a joy to use...I also bought this as this years harvest was way bigger than I anticipated and needed this

The Allen screws that keep the different screens in place were stripped all but one.

So happy I bought this! Saved me hours. Results were next to perfect. Everyone was impressed. Super solid build and will probably last my whole life.

Awesome trimmer. It is a hassle and a half to have to trim a crap ton of bud at the end of a season. You end up stinking, sticky, tired and cranky. This one tool solves all of that!Right? That's a good thing, help yourself out and get yourself a proper trimmer like this one.

Really good quality trimmer. The movement is smooth and simple to turn. It is quite a large hopper, could easily do ounces at a time. All the shake is collected at the bottom for easy disposal or to use for tea or what have you. Being stainless steel, makes it food grade as well as easy to clean off any excess resin. I hope this helps in your decision making.

The media could not be loaded. This bud trimmer is very easy to set up - just hook the tray on the front, pick the grate you want, insert bud, and spin! The trimmer wants to keep spinning so once you have it started, it's very easy to keep it going.. it won't wear you out.I really like the bottom silicone plate/bowl that catches all of the junk. The handle has a neat little pop-up/down mechanism and is easy on the hands.It is large and you will need space to store it... if I circle my arms around it, they don't touch... so that's just a rough estimate of how big around it is.Currently, this manual bud trimmer is $399.99 - $30 coupon = $369.99 and I think it's a fair deal. This will save you so much time and it does a really good job!!!
