Read "Gods & Thrones"! I believe it will rock your world!
For born-again believers in the risen Christ (if you're not one, the next paragraph is for you), read it once then read it again, more slowly. My first reading was a constant discovery process where my eyes were continuing on to the next revelatory understanding of Elohim (God) and the elohim (gods), while my brain was distracted trying to grasp the last revelatory understanding presented by the author and pastor, Carl Gallups. Consequently, during my first reading, I missed (and I suspect you will to) significant parts of what is unveiled by "Gods & Thrones." The bible-reading believer probably has seen most of what Pastor Gallups teaches about gods and thrones but has not understood nor put all the pieces of the "puzzle" together to grasp the full scope and eternal significance of the heavenly council, the earthly family, and man's part in both. The second reading the eyes and brain pour over the text in unison, more fully grasping Elohim, the elohim, and the wealth of Biblical and modern events incorporated into the book that clearly demonstrate the teachings of the Bible about the gods and thrones of our world and heaven. For the non-believer, "God & Thrones" probably will read like science fiction or fantasy. I don't know if he or she can begin to comprehend what Pastor Gallups presents in his book; but it's well worth the try! There is some hope the non-believer will comprehend what Pastor Gallups teaches because there currently seems to be a significant interest in the spiritual world - at least based on the success of numerous spirit-world types of television programs and specials being broadcast today. The challenge the non-believer will have when reading "Gods & Thrones" is that the spiritual powers presented in these spirit-world programs really are present in the world and really do influence our lives (albeit, portrayed accurately in "Gods & Thrones"). I suspect for some this will be outrageous or just hard to swallow. For others it may be revelatory.Regardless of whether you are a believer or non-believer, I believe "Gods & Thrones" will rock your world!

Get Ready
Carl writes well, and in this book he delves into Dr Heiser’s world of the supernatural realm which is based on the Biblical text. I submit that these books will make their way into mainstream Christianity, which will begin a vehement debate among hungry evangelical parishioners and their pastors, who are generally more rigid in their interpretation of the same texts.

Very good subject matter but not perfect.
This book is a page turner and I finished it in about a week, between traveling extensively for my job and having a life😉 A lot of what it has to say is right on, in fact, I knew a lot of this stuff before I read this book!My biggest problem with the book was the interpretation of what happened with Adam, Eve, and the Serpent. Personally I thought it was blown out of proportion because a similar and much broader thing happens between the sons of God and the Daughters of men, not even veiled at all! Also, he spends a lot of time talking about what Eve did, but never talks about Adam, who also partook of the fruit; think of those implications after reading that section of this book. Remember, the. Bible, especially the New Testament, blames Adam, the sin of the fall is repeatedly called Adam’s sin. Jesus is the second Adam, reason being that God spoke directly to Adam about the Tree Of Knowledge Of Good and Evil, but it was Adam who told Eve, there is no other evidence that God ever spoke to her about it. Adam was also just standing there, with Eve and allowed her to be deceived by Satan, Adam bears the greater responsibility! Another good book to read about Genesis’ first three chapters, is French Theologian, Henri Blocher’s “In The Beginning.”Finally the author makes it seem as though the act that Adam and Eve may have committed had to be so profane that it caused God to put a curse on them, and all of us, couldn’t be the simple eating of a fruit. The problem there is that the act wasn’t the Sin, the thought came before the act, that’s why it tells you how, at least Eve, was thinking. Jesus’ comments about what’s in our heart, in our thoughts, that this is what the commandments of God truly target. For example, if a man look at a woman with lust in his heart, he has committed adultery with her already; he doesn’t have to even have a physical interaction with her! But more than that, Adam and Eve’s Sin was simple disobedience through which their royal birth right was surrendered to Satan. For a Holy God, any act of disobedience is profane enough to bring about a death sentence; even the commandments of God have this curse, cursed is the man that does not do everything written in the Law! That’s the big reason Jesus died, we couldn’t live perfect and holy before God because we were/are law breakers, rebels! To his credit, the author does admit, after offering his explanation, that it is not the only one, but seems the most plausible. There are some political undertones in the book, which I personally believe any theological work should steer clear to of, and some over simplification of complex issues. Yet I agreed with his take on the UFO phenomenon, his take on what May precipitate the revealing of the Antichrist, and his brief view the f Prophesy, which I wish he would have spent a bit more time on.

fantastic work Carl Gallup’s
To be honest, my uncensored thought is that this was Michael Heiser’s book “The Unseen Realm ... ON STEROIDS!!Seriously, fantastic work Carl Gallup’s! You brought some amazing insight towards how truly demonic and perverted the reality of what happened in the garden. I too ‘stand’ reality through the lens of Biblical Creationism and loved how you are consistent and strong in under”standing” Scripture by the True meaning and history of how the story unfolds.

Be very carefull when reading this book
The first warning re this book is that the author uses the NIV Bible which should be warning enough.Secondly when you check the verses that he quotes, you will find that the interruption is quite often twisted to suit his point of view, also if the reader is diligent and careful you will find that, what the author thinks in his mind is the correct scripture meaning, then this makes it from his mind to the pages of his book as fact.I have spoken or been in contact with some learned bible scholar's re this book and their advice ...stay away! What I would say is be careful be diligent check everything and do not be drawn in to fables.
