Improved Pain Management
I actually got this to stabilize my arm after a ligament was snapped from a fall. It really seemed to help the pain once I stabilized the arm.

Works great, but..
It works great to support the arm for a fracture, but the rivet placement makes it rub in the armpit. It is kind of uncomfortable if you try to move a lot while wearing it.

Stable and Supportive Recovery Aid for Upper Arm Surgery
I purchased this brace for my SO, who recently had surgery on his shoulder and upper arm. Although he hasn't started using it yet (still in the early stages of recovery), this brace looks like it will be ideal for later in the healing process. The product description highlights its stabilizing force to limit movement at the injury site, which is exactly what he'll need. The shell is solid, the design is lightweight and breathable, and it appears durable and well-constructed. Very impressed so far.

Great support but Velcro straps uncomfortable.
The fit and compression are satisfactory but the straps are rough against the skin. I wear the straps under my clothing so the straps are touching my skin. I have to wrap the straps in gauze in order to wear the brace comfortably. A big inconvenience when I have to shower.

Helps with the pain
Great for shoulder pain. Is very helpful that it fits over the clothes making it easy to put on. Strong material.

Brace for a good recovery time
So my boy's been getting into volleyball lately and unfortunately had a situation where he may have went for a ball that was just too far. Long story short, his current brace was just a bit too hollow and causes him to itch a ton and while it is his fault, I knew as a parent that I had to at least make his recovery process a lot more smoother than it currently is going. That's why with this brace by Komzer, he's been feeling a lot more relaxed, at least at home. He's now able to flex and move his arm just a bit more and the sling helps it stay in place to prevent any further overreach which might cause muscle spasms.

Sturdy and breathable, not enough cushion
This brace does a great job at providing firm, 360 compression to stabilize my fractured upper arm while still allowing some movement in my forearm and hand. Appreciate the lightweight and breathable design- the ventilation holes really help reduce heat buildup, which makes wearing it for long stretches more comfortable. The included stockinette sleeve is soft and gentle on my skin, which is a nice touch.Adjusting the brace with one hand is ok. The materials feel sturdy yet not bulky, which is reassuring for healing. The straps and padding could be a bit more cushioned to prevent slight discomfort after wearing it all day. Also, it took me a little time to figure out the best strap tension for a snug but not too tight fit. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-made brace that has helped during recovery. Just wish it felt a little softer on the skin in some spots.

Overall satisfied
I’ve been using the Sarmiento Brace (X-Large) to help stabilize a humeral shaft fracture, and overall, it’s been a very helpful part of my recovery process. The brace offers excellent support and compression, helping reduce movement around the fracture and allowing me to go about daily activities with more confidence. The design is breathable, and the included elastic sleeves are a nice touch—they help keep the brace comfortable against the skin and reduce irritation. I also like that it’s adjustable and fits both the left and right arm, which makes it more versatile. My only complaint is that it can be a bit tricky to adjust at first, especially if you’re doing it one-handed. The straps sometimes need to be readjusted throughout the day to keep the compression consistent. It also takes a few days to get used to the bulk of the brace under clothing. That said, it’s a solid, well-made product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone recovering from a humeral fracture—it just takes a bit of patience at the start.
