I'm always searching for fun things to do with my granddaughters when they come to visit. I find that doing projects with the girls really helps us connect while they are visiting. This kit is very different from others I have gotten for us to do. I had never seen one that has figurines in it that you actually glue gems on where you end up with a 3-D figurine. Pretty cool!Since it only comes with one gem tool, I had to figure out something else to use to pick up the gems. Tweezers ended up working just fine for me. It did take us quite a while to finish our heart and unicorn. We worked a while, did other things, then came back to our projects the next day.This is a kit that I would highly recommend being given as a gift for a birthday, Christmas, or whatever. You get five really nice projects at what I consider a really great price point.

My daughter has been really into glueing little gems onto her stuff to decorate everything so this kit really caught my eye! It’s got cute little figures to decorate, her complaints were that one statue came dirty and the pen that you use to apply the gems is really small and flimsy. But she’s been having fun with it overall, and it would make a fun gift.

Got this for my crafty 11 year old daughter, as she loves doing kits like this. Quality is decent and it's taking her quite a while to complete, which is a good thing as when it's done it's done. Overall I have no complaints, this is pretty much exactly what you'd expect it to be from looking at the box. It is in a bit of a weird territory, as it looks more little-kiddish, but the gems are very small so I'm not sure a young child would have the dexterity or patience to finish it.

My daughter has been very into the diamond painting kits lately so when I saw a 3D kit I thought it would be fun to do together and a neat way to mix things up from the flat coasters and things she's done so far. Unfortunately, the kit is basically un-usable. First, unlike the flat kits that show you where to put the dots, this has some loose instructions but basically it's a "do whatever you want" scenario. No big deal, that leaves room for creativity so we were still excited to try this. The big deal breaker is the glue. It just isn't the right amount of sticky. We tried a smaller areas, bigger areas, letting the glue set a bit to become tacky but nothing worked. No matter what we did we couldn't get the glue on the figurine tacky enough to pull the gem off the application tool. This was a great idea and I wish it had worked but overall it just left us frustrated and annoyed.

These are so cute. My five-year-old started out with the gemstone stickers and I felt like this was the next progression. She absolutely loves it and spends hours decorating these. They’re great variety, cute colors, and easy to do. Would be a perfect slumber party craft. I would definitely consider re-ordering these. I highly recommend them.
