We purchased three cases for each person's phone. The little hinged cover that is over the charging port broke on all three. The plastic clip that holds the cover closed cracked off. We do NOT use our phones hard- they are on desks about 1/2 the work week and in pockets the other 1/2. On average, I'd guess that the covers were opened an closed less than a dozen times on each case before they broke. Very very disappointed.

Definitely waterproof. Hard to get off (but to be expected)

You can’t charge the phone while the case is on. It didn’t last very long not what I expected.

The little port tab at the base of the case broke off, very flimsy.

The material is great

It did it’s job that’s for sure. We went on vacation to Hawaii and I dropped my phone in the ocean, almost lost it, thankfully didn’t, but not a drop of water made its way into my phone after tumbling thru the waves and dealing with all the rain we went thru.

Update: Difficult to type. Alerts & ring tones are muffled. 🙁 Will be returning.I love almost everything about it. Here are my 3 complaints:1. Space bar doesn’t always work well2. After market chargers do not fit3. Alerts sounds are muffledEverything else is A-ok. Price is much better than what it would cost me to replace my Lifeproof case.
