I’ve used this product, or brand, five different times on my St. Augustine grass — It is as advertised! My grass stays thick, green and healthy looking. I currently rent a house in south Virginia area; once I learned what type of grass I have I researched the best products. Initially, I used a different fertilizer brand which temporary changed my grass type. After using Yard Mastery, and for as long as I’m renting this house, I will only use said brand. Thank you of making this product!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a fantastic fertilizer. ratio is almost perfect, micro nutrients included, fairly rapid results.

If you want your lawn to pop in the spring this fertilizer is what you need. I use it on a Flortama St Augustine lawn in N FL

I can't say enough about the 17-7-6 fertilizer. Yard Mastery is the only brand who makes this mix but it was recommended to me after I got a soil test.Here's my to tips to get a yard like mine for about $100 a year:Firstly, get something to aerate your lawn so it will hold water well. I have the aerator shoes and the 4-tine aerator that takes out 3" plugs. I use both aerators in the spring a day after a good rain.2ndly, get the liquid weed killer on Amazon for like $10 and the sprayer that goes with it. You might have to spray twice like a week or two apart to get all the weeds but it works just fine.Apply the 17-7-6 about every 6 to 10 weeks. If you're using the elite scott spreader, put it on like 5 or 6. I look at the weather and find a day that it's supposed to rain and apply the fertilizer the day before /morning of it's supposed to rain. Worse comes to worse and if it doesn't rain after all, you'll have to water your yard.Mow your lawn on the highest setting or close to it.Leave on your clippings! The aeration, high mow, and clippings keep your soil from drying out easily when it gets really hot!!I rarely have to use artificial watering because the aeration turns the lawn into a huge sponge that REALLY holds in the water.Be warned! Your grass will be beautiful but it will GROW like crazy! Everyone always stops and asks what I'm doing because I easily have the most beautiful lawn in the neighborhood.Goodluck!!

I've had great results using this fertilizer on my lawn this past season. Just be sure to follow the instructions to know how much you're laying down. I even applied more frequently that I did the season before and the grass seemed to respond even better--so I am not worried about burning or over-fertilizing with this product.

Got tired of paying for the run of the mill home department store brands with zero real lawn nutrition built in. Being in Texas it would cost more than my weight in products to lawn dominate through the spring in summer. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos by the brand owner and he does not lie about his claim that this works in the Florida heat and it works in Texas. My lawn went from a light to mid green to deep dark green with beautiful streaks and shades throughout. I’ll be repurchasing. Thanks for a great product!

With plenty of watering, my St Augustine grass is growing exceptionally well. Runners are shooting in all directions and bare spots being covered. Existing patches are thicker and more lush than ever. Plenty of warm weather in North Texas with a mixture of sun and shade.Not a typical review comment purchaser, but this 17 - 6 -7 product works well and results are clearly evident within 2 - 3 weeks of application.
