Does exactly as promised and light weight!

This product is very simple but so useful. We purchased the product and needed a replacement due to a defect and the seller was able to quickly remedy the situation.

Unfortunately I got it to go to and from work with me and unfortunately after two days of travel in my laptop bag it began breaking. The shell snapped and it no longer held onto the magnet part. I was able to continue using a few more weeks by taping it together which looked terrible but it kept it functional a little while longer. It was so close to being the perfect lightweight solution for continuity cam but it just couldn’t hang. Bright side it was an inexpensive experiment.

The first product was cracked but they sent me a replacement without much hassle. Great customer service and they made it right! The product is a genius way to quickly use your phone as a camera without too much fuss thanks to the MagSafe. Magnet is strong to hold phone.

Got this instead of a separate webcam, didn’t want to have a bunch of wires hanging everywhere. This one gives you the option to insert the Apple wireless charging pad if you want. Great build, my stayed on without me worrying.

I liked the idea of this little mount. The best thing about it is that the magnet is really strong, and worked great even with my iPhone 13 Pro in an Apple case. You can also swap out the magnet with a magsafe charger so your phone doesn't run out of juice while using it as a Continuity cam. Two issues that lower my rating: First, the plastic on the outer ring (the nonmagnetic part) feels cheap, and indeed that outer ring broke after 3 months of light use (once every two weeks). Second thing that I don't care for is the angle that the mount holds the phone on my M1 MBP requires the screen to be tilted forward, making it harder to see the screen and present while using the phone on the mount.

This is literally not usable with external monitors which is what i wanted it for - so I didn't have to buy an external web cam. You can only use it with your MacBook which already has a webcam or I guess if you have a credit card thin monitor.The new MacBooks have upgraded webcams anyways. Yeah they're not as good as the iPhone back camera, but I just don't understand why they decided to severely limit the use case here.
